# of Pup you want: I want pup number four. Why? His design is lovely, beautiful, and eye catching.
Name: Aesculapius. He is always called Reyney(A bit like Reh-nay.),because he dislikes his full name.
Aesculapius was the roman god of health and and medicene. Reyney was named this because when he was a pup,he always watched the shaman,Igino, healing Warriors. He is also called Reyney because he made this sound whenever he wanted something,of course when he was little. Strange, but Lotis and Romulus started calling him Reyney, because it is not too complicated as Aesculapius, and besides, such a regal name doesn't fit such a playful pup.
Gender:Male
Short Story/ History:
"Got you!"
I chewed on one of my sister's ear, smiling with glee. "Get off," she growled playfully. She shook me off and I tumbled off her back. We were playing tag,and I was it. Soon,we got bored and decided to play another game. "Hide and Seek?" one of my brothers asked, but we shook our heads. "We need more action,"I explained, and we thought for a long time. All of a sudden, one of my sisters perked up and said,"How about Warrior of Isket? Somebody could play a chimera, and the rest of us...faithful Warriors!" I nodded. That sounded like enough action to me. "You're a chimera and you want to gobble us up,and we're brave Warrior of Iskets,"one of my brothers said to me,but Mother stopped us. "Don't mention chimeras in this den. A lot of warriors pass away because of them,"she scolded us. "But mom, chimeras are the most scariest things in Isket! Come on,just let us play, there's nothing else frightening as chimeras. Please,ma,please?" I whined, and soon all my siblings chimed in. "Okay, fine, but just this once,"mother sighed, and we cheered with victory.
"Roar! I'm a chimera,"I growled. One of my sisters cried,"You chimeras will never defeat us Warriors! WE WILL WIN!" Then two of my brothers pounced me. "Hey! I demand a rematch!" I shouted, trying to kick them off. "Never! I'm Rayo, leader of Isket!" another brother said in a bold voice. "But I'm the scariest chimera in the land! Roar!" I said back, continuing to try to kick my 2 brothers off. Another sister said in a quiet voice,"Wait. This is really fun,but I don't think its really fair to Reyney. There's not enough chimeras." I nodded in agreement. "I'll volunteer,"the sister said. My four other siblings didn't want to be chimeras,so we kept it that way.
We finished the game with me and my sister laying down on the floor with our eyes closed and a tounge sticking out and the other siblings cheering in victory. I could tell Mother was uncomfortable with the game, but we sure had fun. "Father's back! He's back,he's back!" I shouted, catching his scent. All of us gathered around the front of the den to greet him. Father walked throught the blue grass and into the den. He smiled and looked into our eyes. Just in case you didn't know,my eyes were white. It seemed like I was blind, but really,I could see. The only problem was just that I couldn't see as well as the other Warriors and pups. My eyesight was very bad. Enough about rambling about my eyes. Father and Mother was quietly discussing something. There was something wrong.
"Mother,"I whimpered."Is there something wrong?" Mother looked very worried and nodded. All of my siblings leaned closer to hear. "Chimeras. Those monsters are trying to invade our territory,"Father snarled. "We'll have to go and attack them. My little Warriors, will you be able to stay in the den and sleep through the night without us?" Mother asked.
At first we hesitated, but agreed. We were brave Warriors, alright! We said good bye to our parents, who had their beautiful armor on with the help of the Regal Butterflies. We watched in silence as they disappeared into the distance. "What do we do now? I don't really know when's our sleep time," one of my sisters whimpered. I shrugged, and shivered, pressing my head onto one of my brother's shoulder. He would usually shake me off,but this time,he didn't move. We sat there, worrying in the quietness. All of a sudden, one of my sisters broke down into tears. "D-darn chimeras," she managed to say between her tears. We all tried to comfort her. She shrieked out what dangers they could cause, and pretty much soon,I was frightened and not brave...at all. "I didn't chimeras could be...so dangerous,"I said,my throat starting to hurt because of wanting to cry. My other sister looked down at her paws, while my brothers let out a sigh. "Of course! Our parents might die!" my sister sobbed. "I don't think so," I whimpered. "But what if?" my sister cried, throwing her head onto one of my shoulders. "What if..."
Time seemed to be so...slow. I didn't know why. We were still awake. The quiet seemed to be so...loud,like a bee buzzing around your head. "They'll win," I said, breaking the silence. "The Warriors will win." My siblings looked up at me,like I was crazy or something. "We will WIN!" I shouted, and my sister stood up and went up next to me. "Just like in the game. We ended up flopping over on the ground," she murmered, and broke out a small smile. I grinned back, but our other siblings just...well,looked at us. One of my brothers took a deep breath and said,"Reyney, you're right." He stood up and howled,"We will win!" The three others started to nod,and joined in. "We will win! We will win!" we chanted. Hope bubbled inside me. We will win.
"Wake up,little Warriors. We're back!" I felt a nudge and I turned to the other side. "I don't wanna wake up,"I muttered. The voice sighed. "Aesculapius, you do this every morning." The voice knew I disliked my full name. I grumbled,"Its Reyney. And do I care?" 5 bodies nudged and chanted,"Reyney! Wake up! Reyney! Wake up!" I opened two sleepy eyes and looked up. My siblings, mother, and father peered down at me and smiled. I stumbled up. "They won!" my sisters cheered, and my brothers nodded. "Who won? What's so important to wake me up?" I said in confusion. "The Warriors of Isket! Remember last night?" my sister smiled. "Oh," I said, starting to remember. "Do you want us to tell you guys a story,or sleep?" Father asked, looking straight into my eyes. "Story, please," I replied, laying my head on my mother's tail. "We were traveling with the other Warriors. The Kronadors were waiting on the other side of the white river,"Mother explained. Father nodded, and said,"We were all nervous that we wouldn't win. Even the leaders of the Warriors of Isket,Rayo and Soraya. But all of us were thinking the same thing. We were all thinking 'We Will Win'." Me and my siblings looked at each other and grinned. "We were thinking the same thing that night,"I said, with my brothers and sisters nodding, and Mother and Father continued their story.
One day when I'll be a Warrior, with armor and all that. But I'll always have confidence, hope, and love for my family. Each war, each battle,I'll say 'We Will Win.' And we will. But for now,I'll just stick to playing Warrior of Isket instead of actually battling,if mom lets us.
Art of the pup:
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=640199Other: If you wonder why I want this pup,its because I
need him. I have fallen in love with WOIs ever since I saw the first picture in TheWolfsgirl90's gallery of these interesting wolves. I have been trying to win one of them, but I lost in those other contests. But I had fun,and took a lot of time with the story, art, and even the name. I improved a lot from the mistakes I made from the competitions, because all of this is worth get a WOI. I will never give up on getting a WOI. Its not for the fame, its for fun. For example,it would be an honor to RP Reyney. RPs are fun, especially if its about a great, unique, and original kind of wolves. I wanted to choose all of these pups in the litter, but I chose pup number four. As I said, his design. His design is so...eye-catching,amazing,and mind-blowing,and I'm not just saying this just to get him. I mean it,his design is so original, especially the unusual designs around his eyes. I had a lot of fun doing the art and story, and I hope I win him.
Here are just a few extras for you to get to know Reyney better:
Reyney is an energetic, playful little pup. He is absolutely NOT the quiet, calm type. He loves to play, and agrees almost to everything his siblings want to do. He loves tackling his brothers and sisters from out of the shadows, and his personality makes him stand out in the group. He is rarely lazy during the day and during the night, but hates to be woken up in the morning. One thing he can't stand is staying in the den all day.
Now,about his eyes. They are white,as if he were completely blind. They also reflect everything,as if they were two little glass mirrors. The unusual but fortunate thing is that he could see. He is very lucky to see his siblings, parents, and the beautiful land of Isket. If he were really blind, the white rivers wouldn't be his favorite thing to look at on Isket, along with the mountains with the tint of red in them. BUT,the unfortunate thing is that Reyney can't see that clear. As mentioned in the story, his eyesight is horribly bad. He can see things that are close to him,but far away, they're really fuzzy and unclear. Other than that, his eyes are beautiful and impressive.
