I am looking to love with all of my heart...
Picture: Image
Kennel number: P32
Name: Minty
Breed: Scene Dog
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: This may sound weird, but she reminds me of my favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip. She is a beautiful character with distinct markings that you can't miss. I will get art of her every once in a while and I would trade one of my rares to get Minty any day. Her markings are simple and stand out so they are clearly seen. Like the green x on her thigh.
Personality: Minty is humble: She thinks lowly of herself and puts others first before herself.
Minty is down-to-earth: She is realistic about everything and is practicle.
Minty is quiet: she listens when one needs her to listen.
Minty is helpful: she assists anyone in time of need or desperation.
Minty is caring: She has concern for those who don't have what she has. Everyone is of importance to her.
Minty is meek: She is gentle. She could not hurt anyone.
Likes: She loves to run. She loves nature and everything about it. She will sit and listen to the wind blow a little tune. She loves to help out and she likes to listen.
Dislikes: hate, evil, swimming, not helping others, talking, and hunting. she does not like killing or death, fighting, anything that hurts anyone.
History/Background: Minty, as a pup, wanted to find out what it was like to climb a tree. One day she climbed a tall oak tree. She got stuck and her father came to get her down. Their family and pack lived by a dam. This dam was old and was starting to crumble. As her father came to the tree, the dam burst and water came rushing out taking Minty's dad with the current. Minty's father died from drowning. She morned her father's death as she was still stuck in the tree. She struggled and squirmed to get out of the tree. Then suddenly she slid out hours later. After she became free of the tree, Minty ran up a hill away from the waters. She took slept for the night. Days later she found her mother crushed under boulders.
Minty was the only pup in her pack to survive. Barely anyone in her pack survived the flood. Minty then fled away from her pack. She wanted to forget all her memories but couldn't. She became a loner and wandered the forrests for years. Every now and then she hears her mom and dad's voice talking to her in the wind. They convinced her to return to the pack. When she got there no one recognized her. The area was green and filled with flowers. It was beautiful. She came to the alpha of the pack and when he asked her name, she quietly spoke, "My names... Minty..." The alpha's face brightened and he smiled, "Minty!? Weren't you the pup that lived here during the flood, years ago?" Minty nodded. She found out that the alpha was beta. The alpha died in the flood and he had to take the old alpha's place. Minty was happily accepted into the pack and everyone came to love her. She enjoys listening to the pups who tell stories of "The Spirit Wolf" who was killed in the flood and their ghost walks the forrests. The pups say they have "seen" this ghost wolf. Now she is determined to find this ghost. Even if it doesn't exist.
Minty still lives in the pack and still is searching for the legendary "Spirit Wolf." She lives in peace by herself. Minty wishes for a mate but hasn't found the right one yet. She is still young but not to young. Now what will she do next? Who knows maybe something more interesting will happen next...
Art: I will do my best to get art of her and I will even do my sketching of her in my books
Other: nothing but i give full credit to who made her :D for making such a beautiful character. I promise to take care of her forever. :3 <3

I am looking to adopt, love, and care...
Picture: Image
Kennel number: P103

Name: Tenino [Teh-nee-noe]

Breed: Malinois

Gender: Male

Age: Tenino is turning 5 this coming spring

Weight: About 110 to 120 pounds

Height: About 2 1/2 feet at the shoulders, and 6 feet on hind legs.

----------------------------------

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: First off, this character is beautiful, and placed on a beautiful lineart. When I was scrolling down to see if there were any pets I wanted to adopt, he stood out immediately. The colors used on him are very attractive, and go very will together. For a while I have been looking for a character with a semi-simple design, but still amazingly beautiful. The markings are placed beautiful, and are not too cluttered, nor too scattered.

If I win this character, I he will be place on the thread along with my fursona. If not placed there, he will be placed with the rest of my characters, and he will be a main character a long with my past two fursonas. If I get him, I will write yet a longer background/history for him to tell what happened to Huron Tribe in the future, etc. Tenino will also get much art done, mostly by him. I would love to draw him, for I can't wait to create his design with my own fingers. Along with all of that, I will be roleplaying him and possibly create a roleplay for the Huron Tribe.

Personality: Tenino is mostly wise, and makes the right decisions. From being forced into early leadership, he has learned to make many good decisions on his own, and is often good under a lot of stress. he cares greatly about those he cares for, and will most likely risk his life for them. Though when he feels the need to, he can be majorly aggressive. He doesn't take any trouble from people, and handles it almost immediately.
Around those he is close to, he looses a bit of his seriousness, and can have quite the humor. when around those he loves, he can be funny, bold, and romantic. When it comes to girls, he can be quite the flirt, but he knows when to call it quits.
Tenino can also be very sensitive, though he tends not to show it around his tribe-mates, but only his best friends and mate. He can easily be upset or hurt if those who are close to him say something nasty, though he blows it off if an enemy says something nasty, for he knows they are only trying to get under his pelt.
Overall, Tenino is a kind, soft-hearted wolf. Though when needed, he knows when to be serious and take a stand to defend those he loves.

Likes: Tenino likes the feeling of being safe, and being with others. He likes to romp around with his closest friends, and sometimes, he even likes to go for a swim, though water isn't his thing. The male also likes to hunt elk, for the memory of the bull elk killing his father. Tenino's favorite food is fawn, for most of the time it is sweeter than elk, for they are younger and more energized. tenino also likes to be with his closest friends, and mate, Zwei.

Dislikes: Bull elk's; he hates then with a passion. Tenino also dislikes sarcasm. It annoys him, and he doesn't tolerate it very well, and often snaps on others if they use it too much. He dislikes when people disobey the rules, and dislikes bees. His least favorite food is bird.

----------------------------------

History/Background:
Opening my eyes, I looked around and saw a familiar figure laying beside me, and I lifted my nose to the air, smiling. Standing up, I padded out of the teepee and out into the open camp. The smells of the outside flooded my nose, the most distinct humans and smoke. As I walked out, my mother trailed close behind me, and all of the humans turned my way to look at the newest pup in the tribe. Though I had been outside before, some of them still hadn't seen me, and were curious. Smiling and lifting my head high, I strutted through the camp. I then halted, and wiggled my nose at a familiar scent, and swiveled my ears back and fourth. My amber eyes soon caught the scent of an approaching male.

He was familiar, as he should be. My father was tall, and had large muscles. Oh, how I wish I could be like him! He was the leader of all of the dogs in the tribe, and everybody respected him... Even the human! My father tells me one day that I will be like him, but I'm not as sure of that as he is.

I am the only pup of my mother and father. I am smaller than most pups, and at birth, I was very sickly. But now, after they had tried their best to heal me, I am a healthy pup, as I should be.

Blinking, I watched as my kin nuzzled, and I turned, heading back to our teepee. Once inside, I padded to the far corner where a soft bed of moss awaited my arrival. Yawning, I circled once before laying down. Averting my eyes outside of the teepee, and watched as the dawning sky turned into a bright blue. Fluffy clouds floated slowly across it in various shapes and sizes. Smirking a bit, I rested my head on my paws and imagined my reign as tribe leader. As doing so, my eyes drooped, and soon I as asleep.

As I ran through the forest, my long legs stretched out before me. I had grown so much since I last remembered. My tail, legs, back, neck, and muzzle, they were all bigger than before. Strides longer, my fighting was also much stronger. Many told me I would be the perfect tribe leader, but I'm not so sure.Leaping over fallen logs and quickly dodging trees, I darted through the forest. My nose in the air, I followed my father's scent. It lingered in the air, though I couldn't tell if it was fresh our now. Frustrated, I just followed what I believed was his scent, hoping that on the other end would be him.

Panting, the forest soon rolled away into an open meadow. The tall grass whipped my underside as he raced through it, the scent of elk hitting my nose. Pinning my ears flat against my skull, I looked around, searching for him. I knew he was battling this elk, but I wasn't sure if he was being helped by his fellow tribe-mates.

My heart and I jumped as I heard a long, screeching sound. It pierced through the forest, and I looked around frantically trying to find it. Stopping, my eyes grew wide as I saw my father being pinned up against a tree by the biggest bull elk I had ever seen. The tips of its antlers were against the tree, and it shook its head back and forth violently, shaking my father. "Dad!" I cried, running towards him. Lunging at the elk, it turned, and reared. Putting my paws infront of me, it kicked me right in the stomach, knocking the wind out of me. Falling to the ground, I lay there limp, trying to catch my breath. As I lay there, my eyes looked frantically around for my father. The elk reared, and came down hard. I heard a scream from my father...

Jolting awake, my heart pounded fast in my chest. Stand up, my amber eyes darted around the den, looking for my father. Blinking, my mother lifted her head sleepily, and looked to me. "What is it, Tenino?" She asked, and yawned widely. Without answering, he flew out of the den.

It was mid afternoon, and the sun was high in the sky. Many of the humans were riding their horses around the camp, so I had to be careful when I was running. One of the horses reared, flinging it's rider off. Eyes widening, I pushed a little farther, running faster. My paws barely seemed to skim the ground when the soft gravel beneath my feet turned to lush grass. My ears were pinned back, hoping to make me more aerodynamic. My black tail whipped around behind me as I ran, my gray and black pelt waving.

And that's when I heard it. The same screeching sound. "No!" He yelled, but it was barely heard. I saw my dad being pushed up against the tree once more, as I had not too long ago. The bull elk reared, coming down hard on him. I winced, closing my eyes and looking away before I could see the sight. My father, he was dead. I was the new tribe leader... And I was only a pup.

Furious and without thinking, I lunged forward at the elk. It snorted, and I swear I saw smoke coming out of its nostrils. Turning, he whacked me with it's antlers. I could feel the deep gashes all down my back legs, and stomach. Crying out in pain, I landed on the ground with a loud Thud! Laying there, the elk hit me one more time, and I close my eyes as the points of the antlers cut two large gashes over my eyes, forehead, and chest.

Trying to get up and run, I saw the elk rear, and prepared for the end. But then, I heard a gasp, and turned. The dog's of my tribe had come for me. I saw my mother running toward me, and she scooped me up in her jaws. Turning around, she raced towards the camp, me dangling from her jaws. I watched as the rest of the dogs from the tribe took down the bull elk, and they all froze as they saw the limp body of my father laying beside the bloodied tree. Closing my eyes, a single tear rolled down my cheek before everything went black.

••••••••••

Opening my eyes ever so slightly, my joints were stiff. I must have been out for a long time, but the good thing was, I know longer felt pain. My vision was blurry, so I blinked a few times before it was normal. Yawning, I lifted my head off of the soft buffalo skin, and looked around. I spotted my mother laying beside me sleeping, and spotted some herbs I didn't know.

I froze when I remembered what had happened, and turned my head to look at my back, expected the worse. But there was no blood, no cuts, no scars. Nothing, except dark pink markings. They almost looked like scars, but when I moved my eyes closer, I could see they weren't even in, nor on my skin, but on my fur. Cocking my head, I trotted outside and into the camp.

Many of the humans turned their heads toward me in shock, and some bowed. Cocking my head once more, I continued on my way, and towards the pond. I wanted to see what I really looked like. Tail waving gently behind me, I slowed as the pond came into view. Did I really want to see what I looked like? What if the gashes on my face didn't turn into the markings, but were still the gashes? No, I would have felt them by now.

Taking a step forward, I looked down and to my reflection. One large pink marking was over each eyes, as were some on my forehead, and chest. They were exactly where the elk had cut me. Astonished, I pulled away, a small smirk creeping upon my face. Stretching my front legs, I turned toward the little camp in which my tribe lived. Smoke rose slowly into the sky, soon dissipating into nothing. The sound of horses walking around could be heard, as well as the small chatter of the humans. Some of the dogs could also be seen walking around.

I began to walk back to the camp, once more feeling the soft gravel beneath my feet. As I walked by my fellow tribe-mates, they bowed there head, placing their paws out infront of them as they did so. I was very confused at first until I remembered: I was the new leader of the tribes dog. Curving my lips up, I nodded to them, strutting back to the teepee in which my mother and me shared. When I reached the entrance, she was waiting for me, sitting patiently. Smiling, and nodded to her, and she bowed her head.

"So, how is your first day being leader?" She asked, and I smiled.

I am Tenino, leader of Huron Tribe. I was forced into early leadership due to my father being killed when I was just a pup. I was a runt, though I was the only pup my parents had. When I attacked an elk, I was fatally wounded, though I lived. I am strong now --in both ways--, maybe even more than other wolves. Now I gratefully lead the dogs of Huron Tribe.

Other: If I win him and Corgi wins Zwei, we are planning on them being mates. <3

I am looking to adopt...
Picture: Image
Image
Kennel number: p54
Name: Heart and Soul
Breed: dog
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: I saw them and knew I could make a great story for them. Esspecially with their markings being hearts. I will order them art and love them and well I could do alot. I have really been looking for new dog charecters since I currently have none.
Personality:Soul- Loving, caring, sweet, and protective of her loved ones. She really cares for her people. She is a bit of a softy and often melts when it comes to young ones. Heart- Brave, and truthful he has American spirit and is willing to fight for who he cares about. He tries to act good but sometimes he just slips up.
Likes: Soul- Her child, eating human food even though she isn't supposed to. Long walks and she loves cats. She loves to snuggle up by the fire beside a cat.
Heart- The army, training with his boy, playing tug of war and fetch.
Dislikes: Soul- People who tease blind people, loud cars, men who break her persons heart.
Heart- criminals, terrorists and anybody who hurts other people for fun.
History/Background: You could say we are 2 parts of the same heart. We are a soul beating as one in the endless clock of life. We cannot be apart, never seperated. This is our story or tale of tails. So here begins our story of love lost and love won.

I Soul am on the top with the purple marking black dog, And I heart am the other dog. I will be talking for the most part so you wont have to deal with his writing in pink. I was born a dog with much Soul when I was born it was said that a great goodness was blessed upon me. It was that I would feel my way through life and that my soul would rule me. The soul is a good deal purer then a heart it is in a way the inner part of every person. It deals with our base instinct. It isnt what makes us just what drives us. Such as love, pain, lust, anger. I deal with all thoose emotions. The heart is a bit differnt it deals with courage, drive, and helps you make hard decisions. Now that we have the differnces down we can deal with the rest of my , well our story.

Me and heart are siblings. That was hard to tell wasnt it? Well we were born from the same mother and both ended up with heart markings. It was thought at the time that we were both blessed by God. But little did we know how hurtful love can be. Or how our hearts and souls deal with it. We were young and carefree and wild. We were the best of friends. Heart always had time for me. He had time to listen to me. I was in bliss living the days in the medow with my brother and mother. That was before humans came. Humans as I have learned very seldom listen to their heart and never listen to their soul. So they came to our little medow of love and decided it made a great place to live. At first I didnt understand when the started to move in their big mechines and started cutting down our trees. I couldnt have known what would happen. Then they began to kill the animals. Or I believe they were killed since they were trapped and taken away. It was only a matter of time before we too were taken away.

On one sunny day me and my brother Heart were laying under a tree asleep. We had eaten a big meal and didnt hear the men approuch. Oh they were dasterdly men! They were cunning a swift with malice in their eyes. I remember that one eye that glittered at me as the man roughly grabbed me and put me into a cage. Heart was also caught and put into the same cage. They then drove away with us to the worst place on earth.

For thoose of you who have never been to an ileagel animal exchange then you dont know how bad it is. Imagine being put into a big room with exotic animals, all afraid, and all making tons of noise. Now picture yourself being picked up and felt all over by big hands. Hands that would feel you for any badness and then roughly throw you down. Heart got bought before me. I guess it was just meant to be since he was a male and I just a little female runt. I remeber his yelps as he was dragged away and his scared eyes which seemed to bore into my very soul. How cruel could man be to take my brother away from me. A man bought me soon after. He didnt seem cruel, actually he seemed quite nice. I wasnt to know that I was to be given as a gift to the young girl I was come to love.

She was blind although I didnt know it when I first saw her. She was facing away from me her brown hair shining in the sun. She turned to me and it felt as though she looked straight into my heart. I began to be her best friend after that. She told me all her hopes and dreams and I began to help her see. They called me a seeing eye dog and I began to travel everywhere with my beloved Isabella. I noticed the way people would treat her always geantly with the fear she would break. It seemed weird to me after all this was the young girl who ran through the forest with me and would pick up snakes and do all sorts of dangerous stuff. I learned about the great goodness of the world from this girl. Now I will let my brother tell his tale.

I got bought by a general in the army. He was a very proper southern man. He could be cold cruel and commanding at times but also could be quite kind when it was only me and him around. I also became good friends with his son. It was quite lonely for a generals son in an army base. No one could get near you to play. I was his best friend and we were barly ever apart. We would train together , I in dog camp and he as a cadet in army training camp. We got closer and were told we were to be deployed when we got older into the war front.

Now years went by and my boy grew up. At this time he decided not to be a general like his father and to go into the world. He was just 19 at the time and thought he was ready for anything. He was in some ways not in others. He began to date girls but not many liked me saying a generals son shouldnt have a white dog with pink markings. It became a bad thing for him but he never held any spite against me saying his love would be the one who loved both of us. I was happy for that for I had seen many a good dog traded for a wife.

My girl also grew older and began to date at 19 she found who she thought was the perfect guy. I remember how happy she was to find him and how many nights she would go out with him. Then one day she told me I was to meet him and his dog. I wasn't sure about this. I had met many people and was afraid this man would break her heart like all the ones before.

Soon it was the day to meet him. It was a sunny day with a nice cool breeze. He walked through the gate with a dog on his heels. The dog turned to face me he was white with pink markings, much older looking, and yet I knew him on sight. It was my beloved brother Heart. We rushed to each other and covered each others faces with kisses. We were so happy to meet again. I soon learned to love his man and well, and he my girl. In a few years time our people got married, and started a family. Heart and I were back together again never to be seperated. For a heart and a soul can not live seperatly they must live as one.

Other: Thank you. Also I wanted to update you on Light walker the lion I had gotten from you a while back. He has become my favorite charecter and I have ordered 5 or so pieces of art of him. [/center]

Lineart used (if any): Personal lineart.
Name: -Not named-
Gender: -Not specified-
Species: Any kind of canid you'd prefere, but please pick a specific species when you adopt.
Preferences: Can not be a fursona or anything else fursona-related (mate, child, relative...)
No design or feature changes.
Please give it a good home.
Add or remove accessories as much as you like, as long as it's done with taste.
Anthro or human forms are fine with me, but the quad form should stay as well as an important part of the character.
About species: Do not make the character a non-canid animal. The character has to be at least 50% canid if you want to make it a cross-breed. And no, a hyena is not a canid animal.

By submitting this form, I, Spotty, agree that I am giving up my character to a new home, and will not ask for the character back if it has a form up for it.
