Welcome to the Genesis nursery! Here, you can breed your cats to receive kits. Please read the guidelines below prior to posting a form!

RULES

1. Please only post forms when an artist has opened slots.

2. Do not use other user's cats without explicit permission.

3. By default, you get 1 free litter per month. However, you may purchase an item to have more than that!

4. You can immediately gift kits, but must wait 30 days to trade them.

5. Please do not sell slots with your cats. If you are caught doing so, we reserve the right to ban you.

6. Cats of any gender may breed together - we do not track each cat's gender anyway!

7. Cats related in ANY capacity cannot be bred together. Please check lineage prior to posting a form.

Whenever an artist opens slots, please fill out the below form in it's entirety!

Some nursery openings may require art or writing to consider your form! Writing should be a minimum of 250 words [any interaction between the parents], or at least 2 cleanly lined flat color headshots [of the parents]. You have complete free reign otherwise, no specific prompts!

General Information
1. Artists are required to create the kit's growths prior to postage and get them approved by other staff.

2. The maximum wait time for litters depends on how many kits a litter has. An artist is given 2 weeks per kit. For example, if you roll a 2 kit litter, you can expect to receive the litter within 30 days. If you roll or use items for a 4 kit litter, you can expect to receive the litter within 2 months. This rule has been approved by CS staff - please do not report 3 or 4 kit litters that have taken more than 30 days. Contact Dimi. if you believe it's been too long!

3. Genesis does not have any Genetics - breedings will be appearance based. Feel free to include that you'd like genetically possible cats if your clan is realistic, but the artist is under no obligation to do so.

4. Tickets with 2 users involved [if both users are receiving a kitten] are guaranteed 2 kits minimum.

5. In the event of a disagreement when deciding who gets which kit, please contact one of the owners or a moderator. In these instances, the kit in question will be rolled for between the two users.

6. Clovers linked on accepted nursery forms will only be consumed until the kit count reaches 4.
• For example, if a single user submits a form with 3 clovers, then rolls 2 kits, only 2 clovers are consumed to reach a maximum of 4 kits. Clovers CANNOT be used to receive anymore than 4 kits in a single litter.

7. Your nursery litters will be posted under a cover with each kit colored in beneath it. Please be on the lookout for a cover featuring your user ID(s), not your usernames.

Roll Information

• The rolls for Genesis work a little differently than other places!
  
• The number of kits is rolled on the following scale:
  
  • 1-40: 1 Kit
  • 41-70: 2 Kits
  • 71-90: 3 Kits
  • 91-100: 4 Kits
• No Rarity Edits can be applied by the artist at will - parents do not have to carry No Rarity traits for them to appear in kits.
• For common, uncommon, and rare edits, an artist will roll a dice with however many of a trait the cat has +1; the 1 functions as a 0.
  
  • If a 1[0] is rolled, no traits of that rarity pass.
  • For example, if a cat has 3 common traits, the artist will roll a D4. Whatever the rolled number is is how many of the traits pass. From there, artists may choose which traits to pass.
  • With common traits, artists have the option of substituting one of the traits for one neither of the parents carry - this is to allow for more variety in a cat's lineage!
• If both parents have a trait in common, the roll for that trait specifically is instead replaced by a 50/50 chance.
  
  • 1-50: Trait passes.
  • 51-100: Trait does not pass.
• This roll system as a whole is in place to give your kits more diversity, and artists more freedom!
