GENERAL RULES

1. All CS rules apply here.

2. Do not spam this thread.

3. Please don't steal any of the art, graphics, content, or designs used for KOS. Our staff and artists work really hard to create it.

4. Do not attempt to make your own Orb Serpent, or manipulate/edit your serpent in any way. You may, however, crop your serpent image in any way, cropping empty space, crop to make a profile header, crop for a profile icon, etc. Please do not edit the colors, distort shape, size, or the design of your serpent in any way.

5. If you do not want your serpent, please notify a staff member, or offer a trade opportunity to members of the community.

6. Trades must all be on CS or within KOS, offsite trades are not allowed.

7. Trades may only involve KOS serpents/items/currency, art, CS pets/C$, and other UMA adopts/items/currency (as long as the other UMA allows it and the proper forms are posted in both UMAs). Trades involving real currency are not allowed.

8. By default, you have a space cap that only allows you to own up to 10 serpents. You can increase this amount by using pearls or certain items found from exploring. Max possible serpent space cap is 100.

RULES & GUIDELINES

1. By default, breeding serpents will give you three full-grown offspring to choose from. If you use one nest, you can keep one offspring; if you use two nests, you can keep two offspring, etc. If you don't have enough spaces, you won't be able to use more than one nest. (You may breed your serpents with no nests to allow their offspring to be raffled as a litter, but without an egg nest you may not ensure you'll keep any of the offspring, unless you win them in the litter raffle.)

2. You are allowed to add nests to a breeding after it has been accepted/started, so long as the breeding results have not yet been posted. To do so, please quote your original breeding form, and specify how many extra nests you'd like to add, as well as proof (of nest ownership, and agreement from your breeding partner). There cannot be more nests used than the amount of serps produced from the breeding.

2. You can breed your serpent with another user's serpent, as long as you have their permission, they will also need to quote the breeding form once submitted to confirm that they agreed. Both sides of the party must have an egg nest, unless one party decides to cover both egg nests and allow the other person to still claim an egg of their choosing.

3. Want a larger litter (more than 3 offspring)? Head over to Titana's Hoard and grab some egg potions (purchased with items found exploring)!

4. Any two adult serpents can breed. If breeding serpents on the v2 lines, the results will also be on those lines. If breeding serpents on the v1 or v1.2 lines, the results will be on the v1.2 lines. If breeding a serp on v2 lines with a serp on the v1/v1.2 lines, some offspring will use the v2 lines, while other offspring will use the v1.2 lines.

ORB RARITY


Elemental

Most serps have one element in their orbs: fire, nature, ice or water. You can tell by the color of the orb.
If it's red, it's fire. If it's deep blue, it's water. Light blue is for ice, and green is for nature.

Legendary

Some serpents have orbs that are multiple colors, an unusual color, or a non-spherical shape. These serpents can be classified as "legendary orb carriers".
They can explore any area, as their orbs do not have one element, but every element combined.
Below are a couple of examples of some legendary/mythic orbs you might see on serpents, but the possibilities are endless!
