Her breathing slowed a bit and she kneaded the ground with her paws and shook her head saying "I'm sorry. It's n-nothing." She looked at her paws unable to meet his gaze, "I'm sorry." Her soft blue eyes where filled with a glint of guilt. She looked up at Birdfeather with a bit of new fear coming back. "I'm sorry. It was my imagination or hawk -- something. It just s-spooked me that's all." She said, her soft voice a little shaky.

Flamestar narrowed his eyes, looking the apprentice over carefully. Finally, he gave up, "Alright then, why don't you go get some rest. It will help." he said softly.

She shivered away inside as Birdfeather spoke to her. PuddlePaw nodded great-fully as Flamestar dismissed her. She shot quickly into the apprentice's den and sat in her nest. What is those cats saw me and followed? I could've led them straight into our camp...And now that they think everything is okay they won't be prepared for anything... Listening to her thoughts, guilt, fear, and shock took over her as she soon hyperventilated and passed out on her nest.

Returning to his sister's side, Flamestar sighed once again, "Something's not right with Puddlepaw." he murmured to Dawnfire. She nodded in agreement, "I did realize that." she murmured in reply. Looking towards the apprentice's den she said, "I'll have to speak to her tomorrow." Flamestar nodded, "If anyone can get it out of her, you can." With that he trotted off to send out patrols.
