- hello!
This is a brief interest check + some thoughts for feedback on the guys below:

This is a 'petalux' (name might be a placeholder?).
I'd like to do a genetics based, simple rpg style uma. You'd be able to breed rare hybrids and new traits, collect seeds to grow more petalux's, and get trinkets to buy mutation potions and custom items.
Markings and modifiers would be genetic based (with heterozygous and co-dominant traits like in snakes), and I'm currently working through figuring out coloring/base color and eye genetics and if I'd even want that level of 'oversight' or if i want to keep it more open ended - basically either using color 'mixing' for inheritance (ex: FR) or strict genetics (ex: PCE). That's kinda where I'm stuck and not sure what level others would be interested in.
Flowers will have a custom 'species' genetics, and would allow for custom drawn/line edits to accommodate hybrids. Flower colors/patterns currently do not have genetics and are the most customizable option beyond base color. I'm kinda leaning towards keeping it that way for more fun + because I don't want genetic strings two miles long lol
i dont have too much in the way of 'supportive' graphics (banner, items, link buttons, etc.) made for these guys yet, but I've been chugging along on a base for them for a while and wasn't quite sure where/how to release them as it was a passion project at first. I also haven't been active on CS for a while, so I'm not super sure how uma's are run atm.
It'd be a free to play uma as well - with customs and breedings available through free to find (through the rpg elements), and free to buy (through in 'game' currency) ways. Artists would be able to sell customs and breeding slots if they'd like, however.
Some more examples from the base with example genos
(markings only atm, and def wip):

clouded silver galaxy piebald with dark dracinaea | ClCl YYG3

pointed blue python with spotted iris | YYPP YNPy2
- the base currently has 40+ options, and im adding more each day until theres a good amount of variety. Markings could be custom drawn by batch artists too if desired (base option is the maximum extent allowed) to keep things fresh. Flowers are currently only 'real' species (pansy, rose, tulip, etc.) though hybrids would not be.
So that's currently where I'm at! I'd like to have these running in a week or two roughly. If this is an idea that interests you, or if you have insight and suggestions, please let me know! I'd love to hear from you.
