Why do they have a worm companion?: On a dreary, rainy day, the gunkimal felt a wave of sadness wash over her. She longed for a cheerful, sunny day to frolic outside, but instead, she was stuck waiting for the relentless rain to stop, as she sulked she spotted worms emerging from the soil! Excitedly, she collected them to keep her company until the rain ceased. They played and played all day long and when the downpour finally ended, all the worms except one returned to the earth; this particular worm was determined to stay. It turned out that the worm had such a delightful time that it wanted to remain with its new companion! The gunkimal happily decided to let the worm stay and they became the best of friends.

Why do they have a worm companion?:
They found a worm on their tail one day while they were digging in the dirt. It was just chilling there and refused to go back into the dirt. He shrugged and decided to take the worm in as his own. This silly little worm just loves the moisture from this gunkimal, and now he will never dry out <3
