That would work if the animals weren’t in our foyer/opened up dining room. I doubt there’s a baby gate long enough (plus our stairs are at a weird angle…so idk if it would work there anyway since the gate is supposed to go between two walls, right?)
But yeah, I don’t think there’s a baby gate that long…
And then, the dining area is situated at the side of the house so there’s another entry area by the stairs/door to our basement.
(I wish I could share a picture of the area so you guys could see what I’m talking about, but I don’t have social media and I have nowhere to actually post the picture to first. If I could upload to certain sites I would, but those are sites I haven’t gone onto in so long and I’ve forgotten my log in for them.)
Edit:
My dad could have probably built something out of wood or pipe when he was younger, if we’d thought of it.
He doesn’t have the time or energy now though, at his age and with the way his bosses are working him now.
