dei and alatus are a canon pair, and met when dei mysteriously showed up in the town that
my modern au kals exist in. dei originally comes from my fantasy au, but managed to find
a way out of time space itself and managed to drop himself in alatus' town in the very moment
that alatus needed a friend. they had one chance encounter where dei turned alatus' entire world
around for the better, but then seemingly dropped off the face of the earth. alatus searched for him
for months until they reconnected, and the rest is history. dei lives with alatus now, and the two are
incredibly in love.

Though it brightens up once she meets Roxy, I wonder why hehe? As for Roxy, she is CLEARLY not from around here… though she keeps claiming she’s an alien and nobody believes her LOL

Finn is a merkal (obvi), but he’s like a whale or seal in the water— he can’t breathe underwater, but he can hold his breath for ages in order to spend time underwater! His home is underwater but constructed in a dome, so that the water level can be reduced. It’s basically a little air bubble that’s been pulled down. He can also survive out of water just fine, but his mobility is so limited that he just stays in water.

Maricela is an actress! She’s super famous and kind of rose to fame really rapidly. She loves her life, but is an introvert and definitely takes the time to recharge away from the media.

The two met while filming a beach movie. Finn was a cameraman for underwater shots where Mari played a mermaid. I haven’t decided if this breeding is in character yet, since I’m still developing them, but I know that they get along well and are good friends! :>
