Oasis Islands Barbs are home to the desert, but not just any part of it a single large oasis holds almost the entire population. They stand at anywhere from 13.3 to 15 hands sometimes reaching 16 hands, their coats can be seen in almost any color but solids are more common. Their tongue also much like a giraffe has grown to be a dark purple-ish black in color to keep from getting their tongue getting burnt. While the horses have adapted to being able to survive for days on end with out food or water. Though they can go a nearly a month with out eating they can only go about Six days without water. Twin rates are super low with in the breed and often times Stud Vials are collect from the studs to be used at a later date to produce offspring.
It is seen though that they do very well in a variety of riding disciplines, but have been seen to excel in liberty, calf cutting, and hunter jumper!


mustange
oasis mustangs hooves can be heard thundering through the hilly grasslands and marshes of the island. they can sometimes be seen checking out the sandy beaches but we are unsure as to why. The mustangs stand anywhere from 13 hands to 15.5. They are hot and smart, definitely looking to test your skills and patience. they tend to avoid the barb herds, but when they do cross paths they will tend to put on a show. mostly a lot of smack talk and kicking around. there has been no cases of any threats to each other though. We are still working to learn more about this breed as well. The few that have been tamed seem to do great in western discipline such as western pleasure, barrel racing, and poll bending. they are not limited to western as they can make for great jumpers, eventing, and even dressage.

These gentle gaints are the last breed you would probably expect to see on an island like this. They have honestly found some of the most intresting and impressive ways to survive. These guys tend to stick to the little forest there is on the island but they will go to the grasslands when needed. they avoid the ocean and desert in the wild. they have survied so well by eating roots, bark, pine cones, and acorns. The roots provide them with enough water to let them go days if not weeks before they really need to seek out a source of water. These guys are great in driving, eventing, sled racing, and strong pooling. i'm sure you can train them to do more but keep in mind speed is not their strong suit

You can own an unlimited number and there are no requirements for adoption.

Breeding

due to these breed being limited and making a come back, breeding is limited and you need special vials to breed them. this breeding program helps the breed genatics and keep them growing at a healthy rate. what we do here is vial breeding. it is safer and easer to do. in order to breed one of the owners must have a vial. the owner of the mare or owner of the stallion. all that matter is at lest one vile is prested at the time of breeding. there are different levels of vials. as the number goes up there may be specialty viles that will apper for limited perches.



Breeding Limits
at this moment each horse has a breeding limit. this is again to mange everything. mares get 6 slots every year on there adoption birthday they get an extra. stallions get 8 breeding slots. the same thing goes for them on their year mark.


Average Foal Birth rates
all breeds are seen to have usually only one foal but have a 10% chance at twins,
and a 7% chance at chimera or somatic!

this is the basic vial. this can be used with any pair. there is a 85% chance that you will get a common foal and not many rarer traits will pass on.

this is the unccomon vial. if one of your horses has an uncommon coat or trait it will be garneted to pass to the foal. if it has more then one uncommon trait the second one will have a 60% chance of passing also. you will still have a low chance or rare traits to past but not always promised.

this is the rare breeding vial. this garnets one rare trait will be passed on to your foal. it will also heighted the chanced for any uncommon traits.

this is the limited breeding vial. this grantees a limited trait passes it. it also heightens the chance for any rare and uncommon traits.

this potion is sold very limited and at a high price. this alowes you to have an none officel artist do do your breeding. the foal still has to be made by the standers. you will have to buy this and a vial to use for a breeding. once a foal is made and it approved it will be added to the officil roster of oaisis horses.
