Welcome to the RCW breeding thread! Here you can apply for breedings from artists when they are open.
Breedings with any artist can be requested using the breeding request form form. You should only post it when an artist announces an opening for breedings, most commonly on this thread and/or on discord



─ Artists may decline any requested breeding
─ Foals cannot be bred until 1 week after they are posted, at which point they will be transferred onto adult lines
─ Users may request up to 3 breedings per month
─ Users must have an updated storage page that is accessible and up to date

─ Stallions and mares have 6 breeding slots total
─ KIT/PATN genes are used at artists’ discretion, they are not required within the RCW species
─ Slots can be traded and given away, but cannot be sold
─ All breedings are to be rolled for, whether using a calculator, RNG, punnett square, etc

─ Stats are randomly generated within the parents' stat range. For example, if the sire has a 3 for expression and the dam has a 5, the stat for the offspring will be between 3 and 5
─ Users are allowed to choose the mane & tail type of the offspring
─ When using another users RCW in a breeding, please be sure to link or show a screenshot that includes a permission quote!

FOAL INFO: Foals will often have a major shed before reaching maturity. The color and patterns on produced foals may differ mildly or dramatically from the adult form

1. Foal goggles: Seen on foals who will grey out. This is expressed as a noticeable pale grey circle around the eyes
2. Foal camo: Some foals may get something referred to as “foal camo” which is quite common, but not always seen. This may include light hair on the legs around the nose, and the underbelly. Horses are prey animals they typically have camouflage when born to protect them from predators, which is how foal camo received it’s name. Oftentimes a foal can shed into a completely different color.
3. LWO “Lethal White Overo” is a term used to describe a fatal condition found if two overo horses are bred to one another. It is advised not to breed overo x overo or dominant white x dominant white horses together within the species. Artists may choose if they will allow it, be sure to check rules for who you’re ordering from!

- Please send me the form in a PM titled "RCW breeding". I will keep track of breeding orders, please remember you may only order three orders total per month. If ordering multiple breedings, please include them all in the same PM.
- I will not be making breedings between two overo or two white horses (LWO/embryo death).
- I have the right to decline any orders. If i do, you may ask again after a couple weeks, in case i was sick or working too much to accept the first time.
- If you are using the "gamete editor" item (allows you to breed two horses of the same sex), you may edit the form to say twice "dam"/"sire", to match the horses involved.
