Finally got my first fable, Dawn. Decided to give them a little magpie familiar. Still working on lore but wanted to share the little sprite I made. Got a little over excited about managing to snag one oop

Yeah it is! The little skull motifs on the background of their art made me think a spooky familiar associated with death might be neat. And personally I find magpies to be gorgeous birds. Corvids are typically associated with magic too so it all works out imo

Love seeing all the art here. So many talented people in this community, I enjoy coming in here seeing all the new art and new fables being shown off.

@SpawnofMagick - that lil sprite you made is adorable! Like Kite said, the little sparkle off the horn is a wonderful touch as well as the cute lil magpie. And then the hellevi art is equally as adorable.

That being said, I've been waiting to receive my two commissioned pieces of Rauru and I'm very happy to finally show them off!

was able to win a spot for a non-owner semi custom, I am SO excited to get my first fable and start building the character and lore! this species is PRECIOUS and will fit right into my fantasy world along with my other fantasy species <3 also super excited to get to drawing, I’ve always done strictly horses, so this will be a little outside my norm so looking forward to it

I finally finished most of my map of Hessepeia here, still need to add stuff on the west coast and north coast and do more detailed maps but I'm happy with it so far! Falacar Capitol | Gold Meadow | Central Hessepeia | East Coast
If you zoom into the regional maps there's all kinds of cute and mysterious details! You can make these on Inkarnate for free but I did get the premium version for more options.

I also wanted to introduce by new boy Delune!

He's so pretty, pinks are one of my weaknesses.

Anyways, Delune is known as a mysterious, elusive, clumsy musician. Rarely seen in the daytime, Delune spends his nights awake. He has a very important job. Maybe if you're near the castles walls you'll hear the fabled (ha) notes of a flute drifting across the night air. It's beautiful and whimsical and haunting. And very important.

You see, not only does Delune play the flute but he uses his excellent control of breath work and music to send upset specters, ghosts, and apparitions back into a peaceful slumber. For some reason they're drawn to the the crystals on the castle, and there's so explanation as to why ... yet. And the spirits can't stay because they can cause a crowd go grow unruly and short-tempered - they bring a dark, foreboding feeling to the very air around you. And that's just not good for the economy.
