appearance notes: (gonna try to describe this, but also i've used this ref picture for her in the past) Willowclaw is a long fur creamy seal lynx point with blue eyes! For a [C] edit I would like minimal fur, probably mostly around her neck. In lore, she was a Medicine Cat who fled from her home forest/clan in a wildfire. As far as she knows, she might be the only survivor. You're welcome to add accessories if you like but I'd prefer them sorta natural! I have this moodboard for lore/vibes I made for her. The specifics of her lore will likely change for Stars, but I figured I'd give all I have now since I hope to keep her vibes similar! <3

Hey, everyone! I hope everyone is having a restful holiday break, and that you've all enjoyed catvent this year ^^ Don't forget to claim your catvent prizes in the shop before rollover January 8th -> 9th!

The admin team has several small but important updates this new year:


• Albino has retired as a myth edit. All existing albino owners will be contacted asap to choose a different myth edit for their cat to pass in the nursery. Albino eyes will now require an unnatural eye color and heterochromia edit, and may appear on any cat. Like other coats with specific eye colors irl, albino cats are also no longer required to have albino eyes.
  
• Somatic mutation has been updated. The description has expanded to allow anything which changes one allele of the coat in a small, localized patch. This cannot be a legal tortie color combo.
• Kit growth dates are now calculated from the time the ticket was accepted, rather than when the litter was posted. This may allow some litters with longer waits to auto-grow!
• Star's graces have been halved in price from 350 stardust to 175 stardust. They may now be applied multiple times to one cat if you want, and the description has been simplified to "skips 3 weeks of a cat's growth wait" to be clearer.
• Some background changes happened on the staff side of things! ❤️

We're also excited to have Hazelfang and spideysense as our GAs for January! ^^ We've loved seeing their entries and MYOs lately and know they'll have lots of fun cats in store for the community!

Starspots is a calico with cream base, light brown spots with tabby, and vibrant orange spots tabby markings. Noted the occasional organic star like spots in her markings. Her eyes are bright turquoise. Her nose and paws are pink with darker spots. I'd love to see her have one brown ear and one orange ear.
NR edits: I'd like for her to have a big pink/blue bow collar with a yellow star shapped bell/charm. Something you might see on a magical girl.
Common edit: Artist choice, I couldn't decide on tilted ears, fluff, fangs, or different ears. What ever you think would be cutest!
