ChickenSmoothie Yearly Review: 2024

I'll come back in about a week after Christmas is over and most of the regulars are done growing, can't know what my faves will be when we haven't seen them all yet (We're also still missing Hanukkah and I assume Kwanzaa, not expecting those events to produce faves of mine as I don't celebrate those holidays, but you never know) ^.^

But I've been looking back at the year recently and I realized we've barely gotten any of those little random events this year. Those seasons dragons were released as New Year pets and Pride is essentially an official event on CS nowadays. I think the only set we got this year was the Leap Year frogs... The frogs are cute but that's just kinda disappointing.

I'm very picky with monthlies, but there were a couple designs that caught my eye! I especially love the rooster.

Your Favorite Dressup in 2024

I don't actually have a lot of dressups yet... I should fix that eventually :^)

With the new rarity system implemented last September, aside from UR Dec 18th pets, what was/is the hardest pet for you to achieve in 2024? What was the easiest?

I'm not sure if this is about longtime goals achieved in 2024 or pets from 2024 that were hard/easy to find... so I'll do both!


I've been on the hunt for this store pet set for a while now - not only are they super expensive, they're also VERY hard to find - but I finally managed to get one of the four this year!! No luck so far with the other three, though... >_>


I've wanted these stores for even longer than I've wanted the ones I mentioned prior. They've been dreamies of mine ever since I joined in 2018... and I managed to get all of them (except the pps... but that one's not a high priority for me) THIS YEAR!! I even managed to get an extra one due to a very, very lucky pound catch. Turns out it's fairly easy to get expensive pets if you grind during events and sell off most of the tokens. :)

As for pets *released* this year that were easy to get...

I traded for my first one and then got, like, four of these guys from banners. Maybe five. At least I got to trade them off for other halloween pets I was missing, but I felt crazy getting so many!!! Funnily enough, the other two banner foxes ended up proving pretty hard to get.

I may come back and edit my post if there's any advent pets released later that I'm a fan of - I don't really expect there to be any more favorites but hey, I could be proven wrong. Either way, this was such a fun idea!!

But I love all the ones I did this year and it's hard to pick a very favorite! I usually end up disliking most of the dress-ups I make after several months but I guess not this year lol

All of these litters are all amazing but I couldn't list all their outcomes hehe. I adore the dogs so so much, that litter is my top fave! They just have such soft nice colors, and they remind me of like, blueberry jam + a warm summer day (I think especially bc of the checkered blanket they grew from!)

These were the ones I missed that I had some trouble getting. Most I overpaid a little for.







And then there's this one...the sheer number of trades I sent for this one was ridiculous!
I eventually gave up and entered an auction for one and overpaid an outrageous amount to win it.

this is probably unrelated, but it is such a nightmare trading for store pets nowadays @_@ i swear no matter where i look, i can't find drink mes, liontails, punks anywhere !! i finally accomplished my long-term goal of owning a full android set this year, but it was only thanks to my beloved bestie yuna bc i had zero time to bother looking for them. i just gave her the funds (some pets worth a few nons) and told her to figure it out lol

PLEASE MORE ANDROID/CYBER/NUCLEAR LOOKING PETS. i am SO happy we got some in the halloween event, but i want more robotic pets!! pleaaase!!!! i also would love to continue seeing the pattern of neon/colorful pets. we got so many rainbow pets this year and i love them all.. keep em coming. please and thnak u. i'd be the happiest devon alive
