What is an Ottear?

- Ottears are a subspecies of Sea Otters/River otters!
- They are mostly found in the Pacific oceans and on surrounding islands, they have evolved to prefer life out of water, but still spend a lot of their time in the sea.
- Their diet is mostly clams and whatever fish they can catch!

Yes! I originally made Ottears in 2022, and finally decided they should be revived!

Rules


- Do not claim to own ottears you do not own.

- Do not claim the base as your own work

- Do not edit the base of Ottears, unless you are applying for an artist position when they are open, this includes editing your own ottears, or adding items yourself, only an artist may apply items. This including making 'fake' Ottears

- According to CS rules, do not use more than one account to gain more currency/have more raffle entries

- Do not be rude/harass others to get things for free.

- Do not harass staff/guilt trip to attempt to gain free items.

Adoption/raffle rules

-1 Entry per person
- Anyone caught using extra accounts to gain more entries will be warned/banned

- There will only ever be raffles as fcfs drops can be considered unfair and often stressful.

-Code drops will happen when the raffle winners are dropped

- You may enter for 'all' but will only ever win 1 Ottear at a time

- Make sure to fill out the entire form, any forms that are not filled out fully will be ignored.

feel free to take one home with you!

Rules

- Only 1 ottear can be adopted by a person at any given time, attempting to get more than one will result in you getting none.

- Make sure to fill out all of the form

- Please do not ask when ottears will be put into the kelp beds, users will donate them and they will be put in afterwards.

- Make sure to check that the one you have posted for hasnt been claimed already

- There are no announcements for when these guys get put out, just keep an eye out!

Bans / Warnings

Failure to follow the rules will result in a warning, an in severe cases, a Ban from the species.

- 3 warnings within 6 months will result in a ban.
- After another 6 months you may appeal this ban to staff and if accepted, your ottears will be given new ids.

- If banned your ottears will become 'unofficial' and will no longer be associated. All id's will be removed and they cannot be traded for other Ottears, only gifted.


- Warnings will be removed after 6 months unless another incident occurs.
