Queenie laughed lightly as the back door opened easily. It wasn't even locked! "You got it!" She said, and she entered the storeroom, filling up the berry bags as quickly as she could. There was an ample amount of berries, and the berry bags were specially designed to be able to hold a vast amount of berries without becoming too bulky or damaging any of the berries. Once she was finished, she left the storeroom with the now-full bags - the storeroom now significantly emptier - and waited for Kingston to also be finished. "Now let's get these to Klaus and back to our colony." She said, and took off with the berry bags. They were a little heavier than anticipated, but it wasn't too difficult to carry them back overhead of the safe area, and back into the bush that they'd told Klaus to wait for them in.
As she landed, however, Queenie immediately noticed that there was a distinct lack of Klaus. "Where is that bumbling fool?" she asked aloud, putting the berry bags down, and poking her head through the bush and into the area that she and Kingston had just robbed. Her eyes widened slightly as she saw that Klaus was in the middle of the area, going around and drawing attention to himself!

She frowned slightly as Chase mentioned sensing a bad feeling - or someone with bad intentions nearby. Looking around, Petalia couldn't see anyone, but she put her guard up, prepared in case there was an ambush or attack. "Stay close, everyone," she said to the young Pokémon that they'd just guided to the area, not wanting them to get hurt in case there was an attack. She was distracted, however, by the sudden appearance of a Wynaut, carrying an empty bag and talking to... well, no one in particular. It seemed most Pokemon in the area that had spotted the Wynaut had stopped to watch the blue Pokémon, also confused or amused. Petalia tilted her head to one side, confused. "I've never seen him before - how strange!" She said. "Let's see what he wants."
She approached the Wynaut, carefully. "Hi there - are you lost? Or hungry? We've got plenty of berries we can share with you to help you out."

He was a bit surprised that the Sylveon had calmed down, even sitting down to not be jumping around. Ernest was still upset and mad, something that just seemed to linger with him since his passing, but it had calmed down somewhat. Though he didn't let his guard down, still prepared to attack or run away on a moment's notice, Ernest decided to sit down as well, and became opaque - well, as much as he could, there was always going to be some transparency to him, a slight shimmer that always indicated he wasn't quite alive. "You can ask. But I won't answer." Ernest replied, his voice quiet, more pained than unfriendly as he added, "I don't want to talk about it." He let out a heavy sigh, trying not to think too much about it, as to not flare up again. "Why are you here?" Ernest asked.

Now that the back door was open, it was time. He joins Queenie in filling his bags, and once the both of them had finished, there was a VERY noticeable difference from before. "Yes, let's make ourselves scarce before anyone sees us." he says, and follows Queenie off with the bags. A very easy job all around. However he also noticed the problem. "Where on earth is that useless Wynaut Klaus? Klaus!" he calls, and places his berry bags down next to Queenie's. "Hmm? Do you see him?" he asks, following her into the bush. To his surprise, Klaus was doing quite possibly the stupidest thing he could think of. "What on EARTH is that moron doing?"

He was garnering quite some attention, great! Now all he had to do was find someone to give him some food, then he was certain that Kingston and Queenie would be quite pleased. As Petalia approaches him, he turns to her with his usual smile. "Well hey there! I sure would like some food, yes indeedy! Just fill up this here bag, that would be quite handy dandy!" He presents his empty bag, and looks at her expectantly. Upon hearing Kingston speak from the bush however, he turns to them and waves. "Well hey there Kingston and Queenie! I'm just getting us some berries, yes indeedy! It was supposed to be a surprise, but oh well! Say, did you two find those berries you were looking for?"

A bumbling fool this Wynaut did seem. Since Petalia approached him, he figured it would be best to let her handle this. However when Klaus asked for food in a rather weird manner, he felt the need to speak up. "Now hold on... Whoever you are. You can't just waltz in somewhere and expect them to give you a bag full of food for you to take without a reason. Who even are you anyway?" he asks, although before his question could be answered the Wynaut spoke to... a bush? "Kingston? Queenie? Who on earth are they? And what is this talk of them gathering berries? Did I miss a memo or something?" he says, silently readying himself for a potential conflict. "Petalia, whoever it was I felt before is close by. I would be wary of this... Wynaut. I fear he is not all laughter and smiles." he tells her quietly, and watches to see what would happen next.

"Alright! It's a deal then." Romeo agreed, finally emerging from his spot and stretching his body out before releasing the last of his sleepiness in a final yawn. "First thing I usually do at this time of day is get something to eat... would you perhaps fancy some berries? I know a spot filled with fresh berry bushes," He explained, before whispering to Sunnie with a sinister smile, "...as well as a few rattata or two."

"I've heard rumors from other Pokémon that ghosts haunted this woods. I'm sure you're 'shocked' given as you are one yourself." Sweettooth rolled her eyes playfully, giving a small smirk as she looked to the side. "Anyways, some folks believed in the rumors, others did not. The only reason why I came here is to get to the bottom of things, and well... I suppose I have." She glanced away for a moment. I can leave if you really want me to."

The nine tailed fox like Pokémon narrowed her eyes a moment…Then sighed and nodded as she looked at him. It was natural instinct to hunt other Pokémon. Even the humans ate things like curry, and that definitely had meat in it. It had to be from Pokémon…since there were no other creatures here but them. She nodded as she looked at the male Pokémon. Saying “We could definitely go for a snack.” Though they’d had breakfast at home, she was honestly starting to get hungry again.

"He's going to blow the whole operation!" Queenie hissed, as she quickly pulled her head back in before the other Pokémon in the area could see them - but it was quite obvious that they knew Klaus was talking to someone in their direction. She knew if anyone came to investigate, then they'd very quickly find the berries they'd stolen. All their hard work, wasted! They were going to have to try and play this off the best they could without raising their suspicions too much more. "We're going to have to get him." Queenie sighed, and then she flew out of the bush, landing next to Klaus. "Klaus!" she exclaimed, "We'd wondered where you got to - we already said we found some berry trees to gather from. Now let's not bother these nice Pokémon any longer." She barely looked at the other two, rather hoping that Klaus would get the hint, though she wasn't expecting the dolt to do so.

She stared quizically at the Wynaut, unsure as to whether he was joking or not. It didn't help that he also started talking to a bush, seemingly referring to two other Pokémon - or people. What was going on? Were they perhaps invisible ghosts..? "I'm afraid Chase is right, we can't just give out a whole bag of berries - and... who are you talking to?" Petalia said, looking towards the bush that the Wynaut had looked at. She then turned towards Chase when he spoke to her, and she nodded, seriously. "We must be on our guard, then." she whispered. At that moment, a Volbeat had flown over from the area the Wynaut had been looking at. Remaining pleasant, Petalia spoke again as the Volbeat tried to get the Wynaut away. "That is probably a good idea. This is quite unexpected."

He'd been partly expecting the Sylveon to have pushed for an answer, so he was surprised that she hadn't. Perhaps he could let himself be more comfortable. Not completely, of course, and he'd still be guarded, but a little more. Ernest listened as she answered his question, talking about the ghost rumours - that were evidently true - that she'd heard about and had wanted to investigate. "Well. You have your answer - why else would you want to-" Ernest cut himself off, tilting his head, as if listening for something.

He stood up quite suddenly. "Something's off. I can sense a... trouble in the forest." Ernest said, trying to figure out what. He didn't know what it was or why. Just that someone, or something, was causing trouble somewhere in the forest - and not too far away.

Since Klaus had compromised their hiding spot, he supposed that they would have to simply play it off. "Yes, let's bring that fool back with us, and then scarper." He follows Queenie out of the bush, trying not to pay too much attention to those watching them. "Come on Klaus, let's go. We... appreciate your effort, but it is certainly not needed. Forget filling your bag, we have a colony to get back to." He stifles a glare at Klaus, instead choosing a fake smile. What a bumbling buffoon Klaus was.

Klaus seemed to not notice the situation that he had put their whole plan in. Still, seeing Kingston and Queenie exit the bush was rather surprising. "Well hey there Kingston and Queenie! I knew it was you two! After all you were hiding in that bush earlier so I bet that you two would go back to hiding there!" Before he would follow them back though, he had some questions he needed to answer. "Oh me? Well my name is Klaus, and those two that were in the bush are Kingston and Queenie! Anyway, it would sure seem like you aren't going to give me some berries, so I do hope that they filled their bags nice and full!" Finally, he turns back to Kingston and Queenie. "Well alrighty then, let's get back to the colony! Say, where did you two find these berry trees anyway? Maybe I can fill my bag at them before we go!" He spoke as if everyone around them knew exactly what he was talking about, sharing perhaps way more info than he should.

This whole... situation was quite unamusing to Chase now. At first he had thought it was some silly joke, but now it was clear that SOMETHING was up. He raises an eyebrow at the mention of gathering berries at nearby berry trees. It seemed rather farfetched that this Kingston and Queenie that this Klaus associated with them would be separated from them to gather berries, especially since he had a bag of his own. And besides, something was quite fishy about all this... "Kingston and Queenie, hmm? And you as well, Klaus... What exactly are you three doing sneaking around the safe area? What sort of trouble are you trying to cause?" He watches them, and looking at Klaus's empty bag made him wonder... If these strangers were searching for food, and they had been hiding around the place, they were concerningly close to their food supply... But surely they didn't... Did they? He looks over to their food storage, and then to Petalia. "...Petalia. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
