Pup's story: Clay was born in the harsh, dry mountains of the American west. As a pup, he ventured to the Grand Canyon, the Hoover dam, and even a mountain range with SNOW on it! He is a popular sight on cattle and horse ranches, and likes to herd the animals for fun, ocassionally taking a sick or stillborn calf or foal for food.
