what do the potions do? or are they just items? why does everyone want them?

The potions are just items, they aren’t tokens, they’re just for fun. People want them because they collect items and want one of every item from the event, and they were randomized when given out so you weren’t guaranteed to get every one, so people want to trade for the ones they’re missing. (Or they just like them and want more of them!)

this is my first event in a while. have people found it’s better to save your tokens because you have more to choose from at the end or use them now?

It's all up to personal preference. Some people like to buy as the event go on, and some prefer to buy at the end. There's no right way to do it!

banner’s broken for me?? it’s on the item archive page, but the page is broken and it won’t let me tap the banner. will it eventually just reset or am i doing something wrong?

It should be fine - I'd just refresh and look for a different banner! Though, if you accidentally double-clicked, you'll get an error message rather than showing the token/pet you received - rest assured though, if the timer reset then you received a token.

I’m having an odd time getting the banner to appear compared to past years? Past years I felt like it was a few clicks and there it was. This year I have to go through multiple forum pages, trading pages, back to the event page, and then a page refresh to finally get it to pop up. I see people already having tons of candies but I’m spending a lot of my time just to trigger the banner

The banner showing up at the bottom of the page is entirely random, so you may just have had a bout of bad luck. You can always try refreshing a single page until it shows up!

The site clock is the page I find refreshes the fastest if it helps! <3
