I always liked the idea of Warrior Cats but I don't like the books all that much (I've read most of them and a lot of them are pretty boring imo).
i definitely read survivors, the dog one, when i was a youngster, but there were a lot of reasons i never continued warriors, and one of those reasons was that it was all over the place and i didnt feel super connected to it unfortunately :<<<
The Warrior Cats story is about some Clans based off of the seasons, to put it simply. . . Some of the characters from that story are Arcticflight, a guy who's kits were kidnapped and is learning that revenge is immoral; Wolfstorm, a buff gal who is dealing with her niece dying because religion (long story), and is learning that everyone has reasons for their actions; Cobwebdew, a guy who experienced trauma at a young age (he got half-blinded by Wolfstorm when he was a young teen, and his parents both died when he became an adult), and is learning how to actually feel emotions like a normal cat again; and finally, Hyacinthdrop, or Hyacinth, a sweet gal who is learning that sometimes, violence is necessary.
asdfghjkl
i love these character dynamics and would love to see how they interact , if they do , in the storyline ! especially cobwebdew and wolfstorm since he was attacked by her.
My second-most worked on story is a sort of mix between mythology, supernatural creatures, with little of modern-day religion mixed in. The main characters are deities: Death, Destiny, Prophecy, and Atropos, one of the three Fates from Greek mythology (the other three are made up). There's also Terry, a human girl who is obsessed with supernatural creatures, Abel and Karina (I think that's her name? I don't actually remember Karina's name...), who are a pair of vampires who are besties, plus other vampires, werewolves, humans, and deities. Very chaotic and I'm obsessed with this story currently.
!!!!!
again, i would LOVE to hear about these characters' interactions together! especially if the dieties interact with the girls! i love chaos >:) as long as its understandable / well-explained, it can be so intriguing :>>>
aaaa i am so hyped for you, please do keep working on this story bc i havent even heard the storyline and im already obsessed >:) im a junkie for the supernatural/mythology (even tho i honestly dont know much about mythology, ive always been interested in it!)
I've read Survivors too!
Warriors Story:
Yep, they all become a little group to help Arcticflight get his kits back. Hyacinthdrop is actually a part of the Clan that stole his kits, and that causes some drama.
Cobwebdew and Wolfstorm both "warriors", literally (those are their jobs), and personality-wise (they are both ruthless and good at fighting). To make a long story short, Cobwebdew saves Wolfstorm from drowning. Then, because they both are having hard times in their Clans, SummerClan (Cobwebdew's Clan) and AutumnClan (Wolfstorm's Clan), they decide to kind of run away together. I say "kind of" because they both have every intention of coming back at some point, and because they don't really feel "together" at this point.
(Oh, and if you're wondering what "hard times" they were having, Cobwebdew's sister had just been kidnapped by twolegs, and Wolfstorm's niece had just died before becoming a warrior)
Anyway, they both meet up with Arcticflight and Hyacinthdrop, and Hyacinthdrop accepts them into their band, and Arcticflight does too, though less enthusiastically. They all bond, though, and have a sort of family relationship. Then they all work together to get Arcticflight's kits back.
Cobwebdew and Arcticflight have a cute scene that I want to mention. You see, Arcticflight is a bit toxic and feels guilty about it. He mentions it to Cobwebdew, Wolfstorm, and Hyacinthdrop. He says that he feels like he has a monster in him, except the monster is him. Wolfstorm especially sympathizes, and Hyacinthdrop understands too. But Cobwebdew is horrified, because that's how he feels...except the "monster" is the part of him that feels sad, or happy, or
anything. He runs away, and Arcticflight follows. They talk, and Arcticflight touches Cobwebdew to comfort him. Cobwebdew, who doesn't really know what to say to this, replies with, "Sorry, I don't think I like toms that way." And Arcticflight laughs, because he's straight and doesn't feel "that way" towards Cobwebdew.
Oops, this was longer than I meant, sorry.
Supernatural story:
Okay, let me explain the characters and their dynamics real quick.
So Death is female, and wears the classic Grim Reaper cloak and hood. Her face is always hidden. Her job is self-explanatory. She is dating Destiny, who is also a female and can see the futures of any living creature. Death is the mother of the Fates, and her son, Atropos, lives with her. Atropos is trans and can see the deaths of all living creatures. Then there's Atropos's friend-and-sort-of-crush, Prophecy, who is female and Destiny's adopted child. Prophecy writes and delivers prophecies to mortal seers. And, as a bonus, she can control the elements: Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. She can do this because she has special bracelets that allow the wearer to control the elements, as long as they have some magical blood in them.
Terry is a girl, as I mentioned, and she's super into supernatural creatures. Especially vampires. Because, see, people from her town have been disappearing, and she is one of the few left. She suspects vampires are the culprits. She is actually correct. She decides to ask the captain of an old-fashioned ship if
she's seen any vampires. Ines, the captain, says that she has, then imprisons Terry because she--and her entire crew--is a vampire herself. These vampires call themselves the Dragons. Ines assigns Abel and Karina to guard Terry while she decides what to do with her.
Karina and Abel are goofballs. Karina is an older vampire, having been turned when she was sixteen, and she was born soon after the Civil War. Abel is younger, though since vampires live a long time it doesn't really matter. They both are not very good fighters, they get along well with humans, and they love to goof off. The reason Ines let them be a part of the Dragons is simply because she thought they were funny.
Anyway, Atropos and Prophecy are hanging out, when Atropos sees that there's a timeline where Terry dies soon. Prophecy remembers writing a prophecy about a human girl who will help save the world, and has a feeling that this is the same girl. They go down to the living realm to save her from being eaten (probably) but don't think it through (they didn't bring weapons), and get captured themselves by the vampires. Ines recognizes them as deities (Atropos has mysterious writing on his skin, and Prophecy has sparkly pink eyes, fire-like orange hair, and a dress that looks like water ripples). Ines muses that she recently got a knife that can injure deities, and can cancel out a deity's powers, as long as it is touching the deity. She tests it on Prophecy before Prophecy can use her bracelets to defend herself. Ines cuts Prophecy's arm; the knife works. She puts them in cages too, hoping that a more important deity would come to get them, such as...
Death, meanwhile, is freaking out because her son is gone. Destiny is freaking out too because her daughter is missing, so they, too, go down to the living world.
That's all I'm going to say for now because this is getting long and I'm tired of typing lol.
