Also, how are you guys planning on doing tricks/treats this year?

I've been trying to treat everyone and I've kinda just been going off what "feels" like enough lol. The only tricks I've given out are because I have literally nothing they want, or I've already treated them multiple times already.

also i wanted to show my lil treat giver! i don't have a name for them yet, if anyone would like to suggest one, but i love them sm. the pumpkin cats yugi made are just so cute sdhfjb

omg so cute!!!! I immediately thought of "Butternut" which is the pumpkin I always buy lol or something like "Casper" (one of the types of white pumpkins) or "Spice"/"Squash"

Is it common LOLO etiquette to respond to trick messages? I never did last year but I was thinking about it and wasn't sure.

I don't believe so! At least, I don't and when I have given tricks, I've never received a response either. Personally, I think it's fine leaving it. there may be some exceptions, like if the trick has a lot of effort put into it and you (general you) want to leave a compliment ^^

I usually just keep my lights on 24/7 and respond to the trick or treat messages at least once a day

My goal this year is 100 trick or treaters as I almost got that many last year and I started late so I believe I can do it

If someone wants art treats but doesn't link to any characters, is that usually understood to be art of their trick-or-treater? I'd love to draw some people's pets but I'm not sure if that is what people are expecting ^^'

I would message the user and just ask c: that's so generous of you! Also I dunno how fast you work but a pm also lets the user know their trick or treat wasn't ignored if you take some days to crank out art. I do ^^;

an excel spreadsheet A green bar on their row means I sent them a trick or treat. A red bar on their row means they sent a trick or treat to me and I sent a treat!

I make a copy of the live LOLO document and just copy paste new people as they're added. That way I have links to everyone and I just use a black highlight to cover up who I've already visited.
