Hey everyone, its Hazel! Due to Tenor not being able to be on as frequently, I've decided to help out and take over the Writer's Abode so I can continue the question of the week and keep this place alive! Don't fear, Tenor will still be around from what I hear!

no matter your case, if you enjoy writing, welcome to our humble writers' abode!
first a few ground rules.
1) first and foremost, be kind!
- everyone has to start somewhere. i certainly wasn't a perfect writer when i first began my writing journey. there should be no criticism/judgements unless the writer specifically asks for some constructive criticism! keep it nice and light-hearted, please.
2) don't share huge portions of your work!***
- i would limit your share to little quotes, up to eight-twelve sentences (a few paragraphs at most). i know you wanna share your entire book with everyone, but this is a public site, and, unfortunately, there are people out there who will want to steal your ideas! this applies to your central idea, as well! feel free to share little tidbits of big ideas, but please keep it limited, aka don't share the exact outline of every little thing that's going to happen in your work. if you aren't okay with someone else doing the same thing, then don't share it!
***note: if you would like to share large portions / your entire story, feel free to take it to pm's! just be careful <3
3) please, please, please don't steal ideas.
- it's bound to happen in life, but just because you like an idea that someone is putting into play, please don't be a copycat. this is the only reason i'd be afraid to make this thread, and why i haven't made it sooner. you can bounce ideas off each other and play around with our little hive mind in the abode, but please don't blatantly steal someone's idea. if you think you're on the edge, ask the writer if they're comfortable with you doing something similar! i'd rather us be open and communicative than little idea-stealing gremlins.
4) all cs rules apply.
- don't spam the thread, don't cuss, don't share inappropriate stuff. if your work has inappropriate things, just leave that out of the conversation! link to the cs site rules for reference if you aren't sure what's appropriate to share!
5) don't spam | don't post multiple times in a row.
- if someone hasn't posted yet, but you wanna add something to your previous post, just edit your post! don't double-post! (i've already broken this rule a few times to keep announcements separate lol oops)
what is this thread for?
this thread can be used for multiple reasons, but here are a few ideas:
