I don’t want to spend TOO much money, but I also don’t want to get something that will die on me after a few short months. I would love to hear your suggestions, if possible!

I like vampires.

I can't advise on tablets as I draw with a mouse, perhaps someday I will finally learn how to use one though. Good luck with your tablet hunt.

I have a similar story in that a friend of mine many years ago on...I believe Furry-Paws?? was also big into CS and talked about it all the time, I wanted to see what the fuss was about!

Mine is a pretty boring origin story, I was big into DC comics back in the day and Riddler was my favorite villain :")

I use an ipad with Procreate for most of my work, but for the rare times I do use a tablet, it is a small Wacom Intuos Pro (PTH-451)
It's sturdy and has lasted a long time, great pen pressure and never had too much struggle with drivers like past tablets. Have also used it across PC and Mac.

I have a question for all the staff if that's OK!

I was wondering if you guys know ahead of time what all the pets will grow to look like even if you're not the artist? Also, do you pick the dates they grow or is it completely random?

Thank you!! :)

who of the staff worked on the new minigame? ^o^ art assets or putting the game itself together? I’m so thrilled to see such a lovely bit of extra pizazz for the upcoming event! I wanted to say thank you :]

It depends on a lot of different factors haha. For things like the staff litter, we usually post our outcomes to each other and ask for feedback, but some people keep their secret until they grow. For regular monthly pets only the artists can really see the outcomes, and for events, if the artists decides to share we can, but not all of them do so we get some nice surprises as we play through the events ourselves.

My question isn't for anyone specific! After finishing the staff dog collection for this year, I was wondering what the difference is between the dog and cat staff releases. Is it decided by the role someone has, or do the staff members pick which litter they want to do?

back around in the september 2023 rarity overhaul, i remember a staff member confirming in some way that the same ratio that decides a pet's rarity is used for all pets regardless of year, meaning that all rares are worth the same.
now, i can easily find staff confirming that only active accounts and pets actively in circulation are taken into account when deciding rarity, but despite the fact that i distinctly remember the confirmation that all rares are worth the same and other people do too (and i've discussed the post with other people and linked it as proof in the past), i now cannot find it! ;-;
i doubt that a bunch of people just dreamed that this happened and think that it's real, so i decided to come here and ask!

so the question, if anyone is able to answer:
are all pets of the same rarity equal, or at least use the same calculation or ratio or whatever, regardless of the year? aka. is it true that a 2024 rare is close in numbers to a 2010 rare?

thank you for your time!

    The dog litter is done by all regular staff who choose to take part, and the cat litter is for General Helpers only, since we are not quite normal staff!
