As I colored the pumpkin, I started picturing a sort of elegant gothic vibe? The spots can be interpreted several ways: eyes, pearl necklace, donuts with spooky icing and sprinkles for a more playful vibe, as well (or wherever one's imagination takes them, tbh!).

I also keep thinking of the way foliage withers as temperatures drop. Y'know that kind of transition stage between life and decay. Honestly I'm fine with whatever interpretation; fun, spooky, something else entirely, a little bit in-between, just whatever you want, I'll love it any which way!
