i wish i could see no.6 for the first time again!! it's one of my favorite shows/manga series and has been for years. granted, part of the magic was when and how i found it; watching it all the way through two times in a row when i was 12, pre-finding out i was trans, and sick at home, so maybe it wouldn't be the same. butttt nothing has ever filled that no.6 hole in my heart since...

the rock-afire explosion!! it's an animation icon band from the 80s that played at showbiz pizza. their main creator is a dick but i'm a ren and stimpy and catscratch fan so i'm really super used to that. not gonna explain every character because i'm tired but my fav is dook larue!! he's a dog who plays the drums and loves space ^_^

Trying to buy a bike secondhand. Found a good one, was in good condition, the photos looked good. The photos were just the bike against a plain white garage door, nothing else in shot (this is important for later). The bike is listed as being for men. So, I make an offer, the guy accepts it, and gives me his address. Its about an hour to get there, but 30 min cycling back, which I would do on the bike, ofc. I arrive and as we're walking the guy's making a bit of small talk, he asks me if I came there by car, and I say no, I used the bus.. at which point he looks a bit confused but just says okay (Important to note - you can't take bikes on the bus here). We get to his garage and the bike is there. It's bright yellow so it's hard to miss. I walk up to it and... it's small. Like, really small, at its highest its at my waist.
Me: ...This isn't a kid's bike, is it?
Him: Uh, yeah?
Me: ...Oh. This bike is for me. As you can see, it's a bit small.
Him: Oh.. That's why I was confused when you said you didn't come by car.
It was never listed anywhere that the bike was supposed to be for kids, and, as I said, its size was listed as being for men. I've never seen people list kids' bikes and stuff by male/female, because they're all the same size anyway. Apparently he thought the photos would get the point across -- you could see that the bike only came up to the garage door's black handle. Which.. I guess?? I didn't really consider looking at the background of the image like a detective because most people, when selling a kid's bike, label it as such!! (By the way, it was probably a bike for like, 10 year olds or something, so it looked like an adult's bike, just smaller size). I told my mum this story because I found it funny, and she also added that she would have loved to have seen me, an adult, riding around the city with a tiny bike.
