Everyone is talking about the love letter (makes sense, I got one and went "wow. That's not the mail I'm used to seeing") but no one is talking about the minor dust blowing through the town. Maybe it's been there the whole time and I'm just noticing it but I could've sworn the buildings were more vibrant / clear?

It's definitely a new detail!

not 100% sure but some of the NPCs dialogue looks new? like they're all talking about the "incoming storm"

Right after I was just joking with my friend about the "Catch You Letter" minigame in Mario Party (because we're picking up scattered mail) I got the love letter and was SO confused because I did not see a trade in for it yet and it was just another similarity I could draw to the game (because in the game there's two love letters that are dropped during the game and are worth more points). Its pretty lucky I got it early, but I wonder who its for?
