Okay revised theory: as soon as the game loads the pattern is "set". If you chose the bottles in that pattern, they will fall over. This does not account for those that if you hit it once, nothing happens, but they fall the second time. Perhaps those too, are outside the determined pattern.

I did finally just opt to hit all of the bottles off the top row and they all knocked down and I got the root beer pet.

tried about 15 times at the soda game with no luck, then I saw someone give the advice to just aim at the glass bottles. I know it's definitely a coincidence, but my first time trying that technique I finally got the soda dog . I'm so superstitious I'm probably gonna keep aiming for the glass bottles now lol

only have the rootbeer dog left to collect so far!! am starting to love this event a lot C: it’s a very good distraction from everything going wrong in my life and the pet designs are honestly amazing, I can’t wait to see what else the wild west has in store for us! I was so skeptical of the theme at first (not fond of cowboy anything except for the queerest most bedazzled hats and accessories WHICH WE GOT. IM Obsessed.) but atp I’m feeling pretty yeehaw about it

CONGRATS! that’s so funny though, I got my one rootbeer pet by only aiming at the cans! maybe it resets and the pattern is different every time, but maybe there’s a few set ones (like all glass bottles, all cans, etc.)

I agree! I'm not really a fan of the cowboy/western aesthetic so I was hesitant at first, but i've dressed some pets, bedazzled a cowboy hat, and now i'm all in 🤠

I've tried aiming for only glass, without any luck.
I've tried aiming for only cans, without any luck.
I've tried aiming for both at random, without any luck....

I'm beginning to get a stomach ache with all of this root beer though... *burp*
...Maybe there's something in the root beer that's throwing my aim off? LOL
