No matter what I do I can't seem to get more than two or three bottles knocked down. I'm on mobile and I press the center of the target. I figure I will be buying the pets with c$ at the end of the event, unless my luck changes for the better.

I'm not much better at it, but I've been following the advice that someone else gave me to aim at the bottom of the bottlenecks. I got my first (and only) pet from that game by doing that!

multiple staff members have clarified that the minigame is completely random !! there's nothing u can do to lower or higher ur chances of knocking down a bottle because it's 100% chance whether it's knocked down or not

Thank you. I will give it a try in about 50 min or so. It is hard to believe it is all chance when I seem habitually bad at the game. All times I play it is either 1 or two bottles with 3 knocked down only once.

It is just random whether they get knocked down or not, clicking on any specific location doesn't change the chances. The chance of getting a pet is low on purpose because it will be available for the rest of the event, the idea is that you will get them at some point during the event, not as soon as they are available. I understand the FOMO but there really isn't anything to worry about, just play the mini-game when you can and you'll get them eventually ^^

I managed to get both soda pets and I'm thrilled. I was certain I wasn't going to be able to win one

What's random is whether or not the bottle falls when you shoot it or not - it seems like there may be an increased chance to receive a pet when all 5 bottles fall, but this has not been confirmed (and I believe we've had a few people say they haven't received a pet with getting 5/5) ^^

I guess those with poor luck are less likely to post about it, so it seems artificially common that people knock down 4 to 5, because that is what gets posted.

But the pets, I will buy them with c$ later if I have to.
