Came in here to ask about the soda pets and welp looks like I got my answer lol.
I've not managed to knock down more than 3 items. If it's based on getting 5/5, oh no. I am praying it's completely random on what you get honestly.

the chance of each can/bottle getting knocked over is randomized, so even if you have to knock over 5/5 to "win" and get the pet, it's still randomly generated and not a skill thing.

also i wouldn't get too excited about trading for it if you haven't gotten one yet. usually banner pet frequency is increased later on in the event, so you'll probably end up with a few before this is over. ofc, if you want to collect ones with the first day of release, that's a different story

well rip i had a timer set for the mini game cooldown and it wouldnt start up the game when i clicked play so i refreshed the page and it just reset the wait back to 60 min, didnt even get a token or anything out of it ;-; </3

Got the dog! I hit 5/5, but IIRC it's random how many you hit.

that cant be right. earlier this morning on mobile i hit only two targets and got the soda drink pet.

AHA! I’m not crazy 😂 very first time I played the game I could have sworn I knocked down all 5 bottles I shot
at, and I got a token for it. this morning I did it again and got the soda dog.

okay so my running theory at this point is that knocking down all 5 bottles significantly increases your chances of getting a pet, but doesn’t guarantee it. likewise, it’s very unlikely to get a pet from only knocking down a few bottles, but it’s not impossible.

That makes sense. I finally got the dog, and that was after hitting 5/5.

I also think it's completely random if you'll hit or not, I went for two bottles and three cans on both rows.

If the timer reset itself then you were definitely given an item.

If you knew your token totals beforehand, check on them now and you should see you have one extra. If you're worried about this happening again, keep an eye on the amount of tokens you have and if you get the error message again, you will know what your totals were previously so you can compare.

The game is unable to reset without giving you anything, so even if you did not see it, you will have received something. ^^

No matter what I do I can't seem to get more than two or three bottles knocked down. I'm on mobile and I press the center of the target. I figure I will be buying the pets with c$ at the end of the event, unless my luck changes for the better.

ok thank u!! i suspected as much but also have no clue what my total was beforehand lol, i'll try again in an hour!!

EDIT!!! turns out the token i got was actually... the other mini game pet i was missing??


no way ahahah that is insane luck seeing as i didnt even shoot any cans xD
