2024 Summer Event: Casual Chat

We're still very very early on the mini game reveal. Take last year, I ended up getting like 2 each of the friendship snakes and another 2 rocks from the 1 hour drop. It was harder to get the raven dragon from token trade ins honestly. However, I remember it took me 2 days before I saw my first pet drop from the 1 hour banner drop. It's odds across the whole event. I have no doubts we will get our root beer pets if we just keep playing the mini game til event end. Heck we will probably have doubles.

And now I only got one bottle knocked down. I really hope they improve the odds else I'm gonna give up on the minigame and start seeing how much extreme overpay I need for the drink pet because the game is just infuriating to me right now. I'm sorry, it's a fun game, but pure skill with higher difficulty to hit the bottles(maybe moving targets) as balance would have been better than RNG.

as someone confined to mobile for the rest of the event due to family emergency, i'm glad there's no skill requirements that would make mobile impossible to get a perfect score on

that being said, i'm really frustrated with the odds as well

The odds of a pet dropping from the hourly token location is always low. From what I have experienced in past events though the pets are increasingly easy to trade for later into the event as more and more people get the pets. Remember that it’s a small random chance every hour for the rest of the event (which is likely to be another week at least). There is no reason to assume you won’t get them at all just because you didn’t in the first half-day they were available, they are intended to be gained over the course of the whole event, not just right away ^^

But finally home at my desktop to properly look at all the stuff. It's always so busy when the second map opens up, I love it! <3
And I also love everything we got today! My favorites are definitely the roadrunners, gotta love me some modern dinosaurs ^,^
The cats are super cute too, love the hat on this one:


And I think I'm down to missing the calico cat, one of the tiny cowboy hats and of course the rootbeer dog.
And the rootbeer float token for some odd reason. It's been avoiding me all day!
