It's really strange to see such heavy topics about death and suffering brought up in a general board, aimed at making people feel bad for liking the theme and enjoying it, or to shame the staff for creating this storyline.
Especially since there are so many kids here: some kids really enjoy the wild west and it would crush them to see adults telling them they have to feel guilt for it and apologize for it...or constantly think about the bad parts of it that they had nothing to do with.
Wild West isn't a bad set of words, and it's odd to see so many people keen on making others feel bad/attacking them for a bit of roleplay/fantasy on a kid's site that is based around suspension of reality for fun.
The staff has already assured us that they took real life events into account when creating this (as they did for previous events that could have had issues, like the Cryptid Event), so let's have some faith in this.
Let's not go about attacking others who express discomfort at being told over and over they need to feel guilt and shame for enjoying this, as well as discomfort at having dark and disturbing topics being pushed for inclusion on a kid's site event.
I adore this pony! Excited to see the next one- these natural colors are done really well.
