yeah - we’ve just been kinda dead :’) and yes! what daybreak said - i know immediately that fishstrike is waiting for a response from moonstream.

as per the more inactive players - honestly i’d say if it’s been over a week & they’ve been active elsewhere just shoot them a dm in a polite way of just. “hey was wondering when/if you’d be getting a response up for [insert thing here]” ?? idk i’m not the best at nudging people either LOL

I did PM oceanz this week to ask about perhaps someone who could approve Jett as well as Tarn's characters in their absence, but I haven't heard back. They did warn they would be busy and adjusting to a pretty steep change in their rl situation, so maybe once they catch a break c:

On our side, if we don't hear back from aluco by the weekend, I'll try PMing them!

My activity might also be a bit sparse come July since I'll be participating in art fight, but I'll update the discussion thread if necessary. Hoping to get some attacks on Leafpaw this year! I even created a whole fancy toyhou.se page for her c:<

Hey all!

Just heard back from aluco last night. Unfortunately, they seem to be caught up in the middle of some real life stuff, and while they said they'd try to get a post up next week, they said they couldn't promise it with everything going on. They encouraged us to drag their characters along and write up their reactions in. I think we can all relate not quite having the spoons for one hobby or another, so I encouraged them to take the time they need. They did say they would love to return to the RP as soon as they are able, and pick up their characters from whatever place they're at.

That said, I haven't heard back from oceanz. Last thing they said was the post on this thread as far as I'm aware:

I’m going back to full time work after being hurt for 6 months so I’m tired lol. if the rp needs to go without me, let’s say it’s been a few days or something, you guys have permission to skip my characters for the sake of keeping the rp alive but I will do my best at responding

In light of that, I think it's best we take stock of who's still active and interested in keeping the RP going, or if we want to let it go on hiatus till oceanz returns. I for one would love to keep it going, like oceanz said, so if we can figure out which characters are active and which ones aren't, we can then proceed to skip inactive characters and keep the ball rolling.

The other thing I'm unsure of is character submissions. Tarn and I both have pending character forms. In oceanz's absence, should we ask a mod to change the thread topic from "open"? ...or do we want to move to accepting characters via democracy? XD

What do y'all think?

You could ask oceanz if they want to nominate someone as like a mini mod for the rp in their absence! Or if they aren’t available to reply to a message we could vote democratically on who to do that?

I did PM oceanz asking that a couple of weeks ago...how about I try them again and, if they don't reply in another week, we can collectively see how we want to proceed?

honestly i would feel bad kind of not letting oceanz get a say in accepting forms BUT i do agree with some of the other previously mentioned things! (i also with aluco all the best!!) i’m still interested in keeping the rp going tbh. idk how well a democracy would go but it might be possible to ask a site mod about changing the forum name - but again, i’m not sure if that’s smth they can do/will do without explicit permission from the forum’s owner/initial creator.

i do agree to waiting another week to see what happens though :)
