𝔄𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔱 𝔊𝔢𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔦 𝔄𝔯𝔞𝔟𝔦𝔞𝔫𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ Originally thought to be mythical steads for the gods, these spirited creatures are closer in physiology to magical beasts than equines of the world we are familiar with. Said to have descended from the heavens above, Gemini Arabians have a cosmic twinkle in their eye and a zero gravity bounce in their step.
✧ Confirmation: Most strikingly Gemini Arabians are bicephalic, or two-headed. Their heads should be petite and elegant with a gentle dish to the face, delicate nuzzle, small ears, and lively, intelligent eyes. Their heads tie into high set, arched necks that connect to the pectoral. They should have short, strong backs and a naturally high tail carriage. They should have strong, dense bones and lean muscling indicative of the speed and endurance riding they excel at. All Geminis have six legs in total, with two sets of fron legs that work in tandem. Most Gemini Arabians have typical equine tails, but will also more uncommonly sport tufted whip-like tails much like the medieval unicorn or lions. Each head functions independently, and share control of the body. The right head controls the right side of the body, and the left head controls the left side.
✧ Color: Eyes may be any color, natural or otherwise. Heterochromia (each head w/ a different eye color) is present at an uncommon rate. Bilateral heterochromia (one one or both heads) is a rare trait. Coat colors range from natural equine shades to diluted unnatural shades.
✧ Size: Taller than an average Arabian, Geminis typically stand between 15-17 hands.
✧ Lifespan: Significantly longer than the average horse, Geminis have been known to live for a hundred years or even longer. Similar to humans, a typical lifespan averages between 70-90 years of age.
✧ Temperament: Domesticated Gemini Arabians are known to be generally good tempered, if not occasionally headstrong. Prized war mounts in ancient times, they are brave and bold without being reckless. They are sensitive and thoughtful creatures. They live to please those who are close to them, but can be cool and aloof towards strangers at first. Highly intelligent, they are known to favor children and the pure of heart. Because each head is controlled by an independent brain, each head of the Gemini can have their own individuals personality quirks.
✧ Vocalizations: Gemini Arabians have a range in different vocalizations. While some ancient myths claim they used to speak in common tounge with humans, that has yet to be seen in the modern era. They nicker, whiny, neigh, and snort like any typical equine, but they are also known to wail and hoot much like the Common Loon. Stallions are even known to bugle similarly to the bull elk.

✧ All CS rules apply here and in the accompanying discord server.
✧ Gemini Arabians are a closed species, only approved artists may create adopts. You may not create your own, or breed GAs with other closed species adopts. Users will not be added to adopts won. Do not copy, steal, change, or trace any GA designs or lore.
✧ You may only store Geminis offsite (sites such as ToyHouse, Wix, etc.) if proper credit is given to the lineartist EmberWolf and whichever species artist made the adopt.
✧ In order to request breedings or custom imports a user must have a fully updated storage page. A storage page much include, at a minimum: a link to the original adopt page, pedigree lineage, and up to date breeding slots.
✧ In the event of a species ban or site ban, all free GAs will be revoked and redistributed to the community with creating artists having first right of refusal. Paid adopts will not be revoked, but will be considered void and no longer associated with the species.
✧ There is a zero tolerance policy for bullying, guilting, bribing, or poor behavior. Artists are volunteers largely making free art out of the goodness of their hearts in their spare time. Any of this behavior will be dealt with swiftly, resulting in a written warning from the species owner. Three warnings will result in a species ban.
✧ Users that receive a warning will be temporarily restricted from applying to adopts, requesting breedings, or purchasing customs for one week from the infraction date.
✧ Gemini Arabians will not integrate any Gulf Sands Arabian adopts.
✧ Rules are subject to change at any time.
𝔗𝔯𝔞𝔡𝔦𝔫𝔤 ℜ𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ Gemini Arabians may be gifted, traded, or sold.
✧ Free adopts are never to be sold or traded for any financial gain, whether that is c$, pets, or real currency. Free adopts may only ever be traded for other free GAs or other free adopts (species rules permitting).
✧ GAs are only allowed to be sold for the price they were originally purchased, unless additional artwork has been commissioned and the two parties have agreed upon the new price.
✧ Individual GAs will not exceed 500c$ in price, other currency is not limited. Any discussion of real world currency must be taken offsite as per CS rules.
✧ GAs may be traded for other GAs, GA breeding slots, other closed species adopts (rules permitting), or OCs.
✧ When transferring ownership of a GA, both the former and new owner must post on the adopt page confirming the transfer. If both users do not post, ownership is not considered transferred. The former owner must also post on the Trade Archive, or else the trade will be considered moot.
✧ If transferring a GA with used or traded breeding slots, it is the former owner's responsibility to inform the new owner of slots used or traded to other users. The new owner must honor any traded slots, even if they have not been used yet, and they must reach out to the slot owners with new permissions to use the slot.
✧ Breeding slots may be traded for other breeding slots or for GAs themselves.
✧ Rules are subject to change at any time.
𝔑𝔲𝔯𝔰𝔢𝔯𝔶 ℜ𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ In order to breed, all GAs must be named, have a halter, and an up to date storage page. A storage page must include at minimum:
i. a link to the original adopt page
ii. linage (parents, grandparents, etc.)
iii. up to date breeding slots, including links to offsping
✧ All GAs have a total of six breeding slots. Slots may be traded for other slots or GAs, any traded slots must be noted on the storage page.
✧ Users must be in good community standing to request a breeding (ie. not on a temporary warning activity ban).
✧ Line edits are not guaranteed to pass, do not request breeding artists to pass edits. Artists may pass edits at their discretion. Edits such as tack, accessories, body paint, etc. do not pass through breeding.
✧ Rules are subject to change at any time.

𝔊𝔢𝔫𝔢𝔯𝔞𝔩 𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔣𝔣 ℜ𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ Staff are hired by the species admin, you may apply to be an artist in the Artist Search. You do not have to be an active GA community member to apply to be an artist.
✧ Artists are expected to make three free adopts per month, whether that is through regular adopts, event adopts, or breedings.
✧ In order to open customs, artists must have completed their three free monthly adopts, and may not have any outstanding overdue breedings, customs, event rewards, etc.
✧ Pay careful attention to genetics. Genetics can be confusing, so questions are highly encouraged. You do not need to be an expert, but you are expected to have a basic understanding of Mendelian inheritance/Punnett squares and real world equine genetics.
✧ Regular adopts should not include limited genes, these may only be included on free adopts for special milestones for events. Adopts may only ever have one limited gene, although users may breed for multiple limited genes on a single GA.
𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔣𝔣 𝔑𝔲𝔯𝔰𝔢𝔯𝔶 ℜ𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ Artist may post their own breeding hubs, or use the universal breeding request form on the front page.
✧ Breedings must be completed in three weeks once they are accepted.
✧ Foal pages must include: a link to the breeding request form, links to both parent's original adopt pages.
✧ Artists may provide free breedings, or accept paid breedings in their custom hub.
𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔣𝔣 ℜ𝔢𝔴𝔞𝔯𝔡𝔰─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✧ Staff can make one monthly custom of any rarity (minding the one limited gene per adopt rule) with any additional edits that they please. Monthly customs do not rollover, but artists have a three day grace period at the end of a month to post their custom.
✧ Staff may make one monthly personal breeding. Personal breedings must be rolled by another staff member.
✧ Staff may be rewarded with artist customs during species events. Artists have three weeks from an events closure to complete any event customs.
✩ STAFF - PLEASE REFER TO EXPANDED RULES IN THE ARTIST HUB. ✩
