Answer: Pigeons can recognize words! A study done in 2016 trained pigeons to recognize real words from gibberish words (around 308 words total), with the most successful pigeon remembering 58 words!

okok i know i shouldnt reply to this but i love this fact- some people with allergies will also train them to recognize the word for the food they're allergic to in ingredient lists because they can recognize the word faster than humans can

Answer: To me the most interesting bird is the hoatzin. They supposedly have an actual body odor that some say smell of cow dung thought in large to be due to the facet that they are the only known species of avian to have a ruminant digestive system. Meaning they digest like a cow. Not only that but their wings have claws when they are nestlings which they use to climb trees as they aren't very good fliers. They can also swim if threatened!

Answer: Crows are actually super intelligent! They able to speak, and often scare people as most people think of parrots as the only speaking birds! They are also able to use tools and such and have domesticated wolves in their own way, working with the canines. They aid the wolves in finding and chasing down prey and in return they get a cut of the meal! They also have been seen investigating the members of their murder who have died in order to assess the threat and act accordingly! I could ramble for much longer lol
