Updates to the pound!

The new update is... both good and bad, in my blunt opinion. I'm a pound regular; I hardly ever miss a pound. I only include that because I am very familiar with the pound. With that being said, the new system is cool! I got a very rare on my 3rd page this morning. That hasn't happened in.... forever?? It's nice that rares are going to stick around a lot longer now. However! Theres some kind of bug that is causing pets to give me the "taken!" before the page even loads in. I've never had this issue before, and I know it's not an internet issue as I have really good/speedy internet. I really hope that error goes away, because that would make this update perfect for me

Unfortunately I've still been having issues with this update :< Refreshing (like past the 1st refresh) has been very laggy and by the time it loads anything I've clicked has been taken ;v; I really want to like this update but...
Anyone else been having problems?

cool idea in theory, but was EXTREMELY laggy. It took me thirty seconds just to get to the second page

It's likely because everyone can now see a portion of small number of pets up to be taken instead of from whole pets, causing more dense competition towards first/early page pets.

Thank you so much for this. I've had a really hard time with the pound in the past due to the loading time, so this kind of thing has really renewed my interest!

i love this update !! the staggered pets really make me think, oh, should i go for this one now? and makes the experience more fun than stressful. it probably also helps with site lag a lot more too!
