-> You hear an owl hooting nearby and then hear the wings beating against the air, as the bird takes flight. The sound of the owl flying away echoes... perhaps from the nearby cavern! Rushing inside the cave, you discover petroglyphs depicting wcovered in black fire—and lying among the scattered owl pellet bones was an iridescent moon-shaped charm on a broken chain. Feeling fate tied to you and the charm, you pick it up and the cave symbols abruptly lost their glow. As you gaze at the symbols, they look kinda like the owl flying away. The bone charm feels comfortable in your hand...
You make it back to your hotel room, examining the charm and discovered its back was etched with this... owl cave symbol that you had seen just an hour before. Because you can't shake this feeling, you grab your hotel key to leave. Maybe the twin peaks of the mountains on the card reminded you of the symbol. You grab your keys and head to a local diner. Someone who looked kind was sitting and staring into her coffee. You sat down a few seats down from her. Without missing a beat, she hands you a playing card upside down. "This has been waiting for you." She says without looking at you. She continued, ominously intoned, that when the King of Spades points his sword at the queen, the owl will bear the sign—the same symbol on the charm. You flip over the card, faced with the King of Spades.
Owls Are Not What They Seem.
Extra: king of spades card is honestly so based, just wanted to tie it to owls being an omen and add a bit of an adventure. hope you enjoy my fun little story <3<3<3

You enter an old, ghostly coffee shop, the enticing smell of various baked goods wafts around the room. Inside one of the display cabinets lays a lone croissant, it smells delicious!!

A smooth, shiny, and simple onyx pendant. Gold leaf is gilded to the bottom of the bottom of the crescent, flush with the stone. A silky red ribbon also ties a literal golden leaf to the charm. It seems to repel all fortunes, both positive and negative...

I originally meant to do a lava theme, but yeah that didn’t happen lol.

A crescent shaped charm falls from the sky. I wonder who it belonged to..?
Tick, tock, tick, tock, I watch the clock above my door. Time seems to move so slow. It’s already been 3 weeks since we broke up, but it still hurts just as badly as when you told me we were done. I’ve been wondering what I did wrong, what I could’ve changed. Why did you leave? I was trying so hard, I thought I was doing well. Why couldn’t we talk it out? So many questions, so little answers. I didn’t even hear my bedroom door open. “Honey, dinners ready.” Mom spoke in a soft tone, she knows what I’m going through. “I’m not hungry…” I respond, even though I am. I don’t feel like getting out of bed. Mom sits next to me. “I know it hurts. But trust me, be glad she ended it now, and not after marriage.” Moms had 2 husbands now, both left her for no good reason. “I know mom.. but I still thought she was the one…” Tears run down my face. My mom hugs me, goes downstairs, then brings my dinner up to me. “Try to eat, okay? I love you.” “Love you too mom.” I force myself to sit up as she shuts my door. I reach for my plate, knocking a small bracelet off my dresser. I didn’t know it was there still. Gazing at it, the pretty moon charm that was attached…

- They say a creature is trapped inside the moon. What do you think it dreams about? Exploring space, going to Eaden, or does it dream at all? The moon glows under the stars tonight, hoping for this creature to come true.

- This charm is blue in color, with swirls and spikes. It is a little goopy, as well.

In the fields at the base of the mountain, you stumble across a plethora of lilies. Their petals ranging from white to yellow to pink, some littered with spots, others blank and patternless. A certain patch catches your eye. A clump of bright, fierce oranges pop in the pastels around it, covered in dark spots with deep green stems and leaves. At the center lies a…a moon? A yellow crescent, adorned with red stripes and a ribbon. Do you want to pick it up?
