Don't have to go crazy, but could you make it kind of resemble holly/wreaths with red/white ornaments on it that have gold tops?
Also, you don't have to tint the gear case gold, but if you do tint it I'd prefer a slight gold tint, not as extreme as I did.

Horns/hooves
They are supposed to look like gold, but I'm bad at getting that effect. It's fine if they are just gold colored as well, whatever is easiest!
