Silver loves indoor activities when the weather outside is cold and the ground is coated in any amount of snow. What he loves most is staying inside while being snuggled under a cozy blanket and sitting by a toasty fireplace, nibbling on his favorite food and drink. Sometimes he enjoys reading a good book in a comfortable chair. Other times he loves watching heart-warming holiday movies. On occasion, he dozes off before the end of either activity. Even seeing the snow in the movies sends a cold chill through his body and he has to snuggle deeper under the covers. [100 words]
2. What is their opinion on the cold? Do they like chilly weather?
Silver absolutely hates the cold. He has some friends who love it. While he would love to go out and join them for a winter shopping spree, or to go caroling from house to house, or to build snowmen with them, he sadly has to decline because the day is just too cold for him. [55 words]

Silver loves the many delicious foods he gets to enjoy this holiday season. His favorite holiday treat is candied chestnuts. Delicious nuts coated in a sticky sweet sugar coating that is cooked until it caramelizes. They are so simple to make! Just four ingredients are needed to make them: chestnuts, sugar, water, and vanilla extract. You could even coat them in different toppings, like cinnamon or powdered sugar, for different flavors. Silver's favorite drink to wash it all down with is hot chocolate with a bit of nutmeg sprinkled on top. The warm drink helps fill them with warmth from the tips of his ears to his toenails. [108]

While he may not like the cold or the snow, he loves all of the decorations and the songs. The songs are often very catchy and a joy to dance around and sing. Silver yawned, stretching awake after a good night's sleep. He noticed it had been getting a lot colder recently, he had a bit more gathering to do before his food was fully stocked for the colder days to come. He never liked going out when it was cold. He put on a wonderfully warm and cozy sweater, some fluffy boots to keep his toes warm, a woolen scarf knitted for him a few holidays ago, and some warm mittens. He completed his outfit with his satchel, a great tool for storing all the food he planned to gather.
When he was ready, he opened the door to his room and made his way through the long hallways of his home. When he opened the door, his eyes widened in surprise. He was shocked to see white flakes of snow falling from the sky.
'No, no, no! It is too early!' he thought to himself in annoyance. He needed more time to gather the rest of the food. He scowled as he trudged forward through the woods. He hoped he could complete the gathering before the snow got worse. He was not happy to see that the first snow had already started. [201 words]
