They, of course, are gone now, driven to extinction by a multitude of causes. Now their descendants must reclaim the land of their ancestors, hunting and battling to survive the harsh wilderness, enemies, and obstacles they face.

Rules

• All CS rules apply
• Founders, adopts, and patrol encounters are all randomized
• As of now, there is no cat limit. Though you may only request one founder
• Users are welcome to have a Clan, Tribe, Group or Colony and develop it as they please
• This is a closed species, do not make your own cat unless you have explicit permission
• Cats can be regifted or traded only. Sales including USD, DA points, CS currency/pets are forbidden
• Theft of anything species related is forbidden, including adopts, designs, concepts, information, etc
• When filling out forms, make sure to all information is complete and correct, otherwise it will not qualify

Getting Started

• To begin, please be sure to have a thread for storage, either on toyhouse, cs, or elsewhere
• Users may request one free founder to lead and begin their journey
• Founders are completely randomized by the artist who claims your form
• Although founders are randomized by default, users may request one thing. This can be gender, name, a coat color, pattern, scars, traits, etc. It is not promised, but it gives you the opportunity to have a say in your founders creation

FAQ

Q: How do I obtain cats?
A: There’s a variety of ways you can do so! You may request a free founder, try out for adopts released by artists, patrol for the chance to encounter cats, and breed your existing cats to produce kits.

Q: How do the patrol mechanics work? And the nursery?
A: All information regarding this can be found on the threads. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules/guidelines. Though for summary, patrolling gives you the opportunity to different encounters, rewards include finding cats, herbs, items, and dangerous scenarios. The nursery allows for male x female pairings to produce a litter of kits, combining the genes of both parents. Users may patrol with a maximum of two cats every 24 hours, and in the nursery users are permitted two free breedings between their cats per month.

Q: What does “storage” mean?
A: In order to participate, it’s recommended that you create a storag, essentially a place to keep track of your cats and all their informants. This can be a Clan, Tribe, Group, or Colony. You can create a storage thread here on CS, on toyhouse, or elsewhere. But it must be accessible as staff will check your storage.

Q: What if I don’t quite connect with my founder? Or I don’t claim the founder?
A: That’s okay! Your founder can be adopted back out to the community. You may not request a new founder, respecting the rule of one founder per user. Same goes for if your founder is not claimed, they will be adopted back out into the community after 30 days of being unclaimed.

Q: What all is included in the randomization?
A: The cat will have everything randomized by the generator. This includes three options of names to choose from, gender, eye color(s), scars/missing limbs/injuries, accessories, extra features, fur/tail/ear edits, pelt color and pattern, personality traits, and different skills.

Q: What are the three sets of lines on the main page for?
A: What you see are the adult lines, apprentice lines, and kit lines. Kits grow 7 days from their posting date into apprentice. Additionally, apprentices grow 7 days from their posting date. In total, 14 days is the expected growth time for a kit to grow into a warrior.
