I designed these 2 (soon to be 4, still finishing but got excited to post this
eeee) characters for kicks because I was feeling artsy.
The theme is mythical forest animals
(of my creation, as far as I know, but not necessarily very original haha).
However, I don't really need them, so I figured I'd post here
and auction them off:

yes, if you look long enough, you may wonder why the
blue glow on them doesn't correspond to the source plants
--good thing the God of the forest doesn't care about silly
things like that
I drew this character without a plan, and I created a cat-bear-bunny?
But I think they're pretty cute, and in this mysterious forest lore
I've created for these characters, this one is the God of the Forest,
a kind and caring being who looks over the forest and makes sure
all is in order. Their name is Arnold, picked it themself ^^ Not much
is known about Arnold, but they are revered by all forest creatures.
honestly I really hammed in the flowers on this one,

xxxxxxxxThe Felling Fox
Felling foxes are subspecies of red fox known for their short stature
and tendency to cut down small trees (most commonly aspens) to use
for their dens. The purpose of the ring around their tails has yet to be
determined. The felling fox shown here is full-grown at 8 months old,
but hasn't yet matured enough to leave his den. His job is to explore
and learn about the forest before he does off on his own. His name is
Vulpecula.

xxxxxxxxThe Roe Angel

Roe Angels are a subspecies of roe deer with wings and a halo. They
serve an important role in the forest, as they are responsible for
clearing the snow away at the end of winter to begin spring. Some
roe angels, including the one above, have the ability to open any
flower blossoms that otherwise were unable to get the nutrients they
needed to bloom on their own. This roe angel is 77 years old, young
by roe angel standards, and their name is Hirsch.

xxxxxxxxAlces lupus
A wolf with moose antlers? That's sure to be trouble. In fact, alces
lupus are one of the more ferocious creatures of the forest.
Although they can be dangerous, they are incredibly playful,
and their favorite time of the year is spring, right before they
begin hibernation: they are the most playful, and least dangerous,
around this time. This alces lupus is named Lily, and she is the
leader of the Alchin pack.
lol I had so much fun with this, might do something similar again in the future
