Scary Story:
Once upon a time there was a young plate dragon who was wandering around at night. They made it to the edge of the spooky forest and heard a weird metal grinding sound. now you think most people would just turn the other way... but not this dragon. They weren't no coward! They slowly followed the sound into the woods until they found a weird old cabin.

Entering the cabin they were met with the ghostly form of an all-white plate dragon. an albino! The dragon sat there holding a bucket. They reached in, took out a bucket. Inside that bucket... was a bucket. The young plate dragon offered the albino dragon a hand with the buckets. They picked up a bucket, reached inside and... pulled out a bucket. Inside that bucket, they found a bucket. Inside that was another bucket. so on. FOR INFINITY

Legend has it both dragons still sit in that house. Pulling buckets out of buckets for all of eternity.

Scary Story: «One day I was walking in the forest during the night. Everything seemed normal, the night birds where singing and the insects where calling. I was enjoying my walk untill i found something.. strange, right infront of me was a huge empty area, just dirt and soot, as if it was burned up. Curious, i entered the strange area. As i did though.. everything turned silent, no birds, no insects, not even the wind could be heard. Even though this spooked me, i kept going. As i went i could feel my paws becoming warmer and warmer, something definetly burnt the area not long ago.. I stopped for a bit, the wandering making me tired, thats where i found the tunnel. There was a tunnel coming from a huge stone, it looked normal at first but then i got the worst feeling, a feeling of fear and dread... I turned around to find the quickest way out of this area when i heard a loud noise,,, it sounded like a growl or a rumble.. Terrified i turned back to where the tunnel stood, hoping to hide in there.. but there stood a huge, blazing beast. Its orange eyes stared right into my soul, it felt like it was burning me from just staring at me. I froze for some seconds, but quickly sprinted the other direction in fear. I could hear it sprint after me, from the scorched dirt rustling aggresively. Luckily i got out of there quickly, hiding in a bush. After some minutes, the thing dissapeared and i quietly wandered my way home. Fear lingering in my fur.»

Scary Story: It was already way too late when you arrived at your doorstep. Frequent drops of rain were now draining from your hair and onto your rugged welcome matt. You put away soaked clothing and prepare yourself for a well-deserved hot shower. You start your washing routine like any other day, but when you close your eyes to rinse your hair you hear a deafening shriek. It didn't come for a creature, rather it sounded like multiple big panels of concrete and metal rubbing against each other with incredible force. You wipe your eyes quickly, taking just enough time for the sound to stop. As you begin to open them, a jolt of fear rushes along your spine. For now, you found yourself in complete darkness.
You quickly orient yourself out of the shower, flailing your hands and feeling your surroundings. The drying rug below your feet, you could feel the cold tiles where it ended, and the soft brush of towels from the nearby open shelf. You take a step forward to reach for the light switch, feeling your way along an empty wall. You take your step. Weird, you think. Another step. Still, you couldn't feel the wall which usually housed the light switch. You take another brave step, and another one with a deep breath. Now you were certain that wherever you were, it was definitely much bigger than your bathroom.
You take a moment to calm down and recollect. Whatever this place is, it must have an end. So through all your fear, you keep pushing forward; every step feeling heavier than the last. Soon, you start to gallop, you burst into a run. On the wall, your hand still feels the crevices between the tiles, and they still feel familiar to you.
You hit the wall you were looking for so long with such force that you are brought to the ground. But finally, you feel your salvation as you reach for the light switch. You turn it on, and you find yourself back in your white-tiled bathroom.

Based on the dream I had. Yes, I am still afraid to close my eyes when I rinse my head lol

Scary Story: It’s definitely not the longest.. but the shortest story (totally not based off an copypasta), especially about some parallel plate dragon world in existence. And it all comes around it. Let’s say there was that one place in the whole world where no other plate dragons remained, their kind almost wiping out of existence. Or even completely?
This one last plate dragon of its kind sat in the one last plate dragon cave with the last shut plate dragon cave doors behind them, doing their plate dragon business. There was no need to lock them either as nobody could get in there anyway.
And then, they heard knocking.

Scary Story: The church bells sounded in the distance. It was night and everyone else in town was asleep...or were they? There were sounds of giggles that echoed throughout the street. He could not determine if it was children or just other people. He honestly did not care. It was interesting to hear- but it was quite unsettling. This town has been empty for years- only for the occasional tourist group or two...but the groups never had children with them. Fair enough, but it still put him on edge as another wave of children's giggled echoed throughout the streets once again. He decided to track down the noise, only for his search to yeild zero results. The only thing that he found however, was the scraps of town candy wrappers and costume pieces.

There was a legend to this town that involved the children...on the reason why the town became a ghost town. But alas, that will have to be a different time. As for now, he turned back to his home, recounting his steps as the sound of children's laughter once again rang out in the streets. [186 words]

The day was slowly turning to dusk as you walked up to the heavy black doors of the already familiar haunted house. You put out your hand in hopes of knocking on the doors once again, but before you could do so the doors frantically open. On the other side, you see a dark dragon holding open an old book with various symbols on the covers. "Oh, thank goodness you're here. I desperately need your help. The monsters from my album came to life and ran away from my pages! Could you help me track them down? I'll reward you handsomely..."

• As long as the monster doesn't have a checkmark next to its name, you are free to list it as 'found'. Even if somebody already found it in the post above yours. I'll be updating the found monsters periodically a couple of times throughout the day.

Scary Story: Isuta sits down on the doorstep in front of Apparition.
“Well, I guess I do have one spooky story I could tell. One time when I was younger my mum and I were on a trip we booked into a hotel for the night. It all seemed perfectly normal as we checked in and went to our room, but something odd happened that night. Late in the night I woke up really cold. As I looked around the hotel room looked different, like it had been abandoned, the wallpaper was faded and peeling, there were cobwebs everywhere, and I found out I was so cold as many of the windows were broken. I went over and tried to wake my mum, but no matter what I did she just kept sleeping, so I eventually decided to try and find someone else. As I left the room I noticed the rest of the hotel was in a similar state, as if nobody had set foot in it for years. I checked the entire building but I couldn’t find anyone else, although I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wasn’t alone. While I was searching sometimes I’d see a shape in the corner of my eye, only for it to disappear when I turned to face it, or I’d notice light shining under the door to a room, only for it to switch off as I opened the door. I was definitely creeped out by this point and went to try to leave, but when I got to the ground floor and tried the front door I quickly found out it wouldn’t budge no matter how I tried to open it. I tried to find another way out, but it was the same with all the other exits I found, and the windows on the lower floors were all securely boarded up. Eventually I ran out of ideas and returned to my room, locked the door, and after unsuccessfully trying to wake my mum again, I sat on my bed to wait. As I sat there I could have sworn I saw a shadow go past the doors sometimes and hear the occasional faint sound of another door opening or closing. I must have fallen asleep again at some point, because I woke up again in the morning, but everything looked normal again and I could hear other people walking about the hotel and talking. That night sure didn’t feel like a dream, but it must have been, right?”
