Name You'd Choose for It:
Deception
Gender:
Female
Reason You Want It:
For one, her design is absolutely gorgeous, and it caught my eye almost immediately. I kept telling myself not to get too attacked to this girl, but once I saw her it was kind of a done deal. Anyways; I would love to put her in my story I'm currently starting to write with my 2 Fursonas and the characters I already have. She would be quite a nice addition to the story, and to my characters. I would definitely get a lot of art of her [Only because I don't know how well ill be able to re-draw her], but I would also use her in RP's when I got the chance.
History/Background/Other:
History- Deception was part of a wolf pack when she was younger, and she was one of the strongest and one of the smartest. Her 'mother' hadn't known at the time that she was part fox, only because she lost her real mother in a plague that over ran her last home. Decep soon grew into a healthy looking wolf, who was soon to become a leader of her own pack after she meet her love when she went off on her own one day.
But no one, not even Deception herself realized that she was actually infected with a bit of a disease from the plague she was caught in. Her fur soon turned to an ere reddish brown and the markings on her sides came into play. The skull came last of course and once that came in, almost every wolf turned their backs on her saying she was marked. Her love did not leave her however but soon, his choice was made when a fire ripped threw the forest and Deception couldn't save him after he could trapped, and soon after that her eyes started to glow an erie red, and she started to have anger issues and even kill things out of line when she wasn't hungry. Deception now believes she is cursed by the plague that took her family away from her quite a long time ago.
Deceptions Story- Mother said I was special from the day I was born, but I believe she was wrong. I am not special. I am cursed; cursed for not being a pure wolf that I was intended to be. Cursed because my father was half fox, and now I'm a half breed.
Of course the fox in my blood is very dilute to the point that you can barely tell anything about my half blood. So why I was cursed I will never know, but when I was just a pup it was very different for me. When I lost my parents and my pack in a plague that attacked the area we occupied; I was the only one who lived and I was able to make a new home with a pack that seemed to love me for me.
"I want you to run, run far and fast and don't worry about us" my mothers voice was very hushed and I could tell just by her voice that she wasn't going to make it.
"But I cant leave you!" I whinnied anxiously. I didn't want to leave my parents behind, I love them both so much, no matter if I was a half blood. My parents had always treated me like I was special and that I had a great future ahead of me; and I always believed that I did.
"You will not wait for us, you need to get out of here my lovely daughter". My eyes filled with tears and my mother licked my face and my father walked over to us, although it looked like it gave him pain to do so. I had never seen my father so weak, and it made me sad that he was not weak when I needed him the most.
"Listen to your mother. You must get out of here, and remember we will always love you". My mothers eyes filled with tears as my dad licked me and pushed me toward the forest line. I whimpered once more and licked both their muzzles before I turned my little body around and raced toward the forest, ready to leave the home I knew so well.
I would have turned back; back to my family, but I knew if I had that I would have seen my parents laying on the ground, silent and still. Those memories would have eaten me alive, and even though I didn't turn I still have nightmares about that night.
I ran as fast as my little legs would take me, running without stopping for at least a few hours. I didn't know how much time had passed when I reached a clearing in the woods, but all I knew is that I was to tired to care. My eyes were still wet with tears for my parents; my pack; and even my home. I laid down in the clearing ready to let sleep overcome my body, and take my into a quite darkness where my dears would take a hold of my mind and drag me into dark dreams that would scare me inside and out.
When I woke up however, I was not in the clearing, I was back in the woods. My eyes darted around me as I stood up quickly, and soon I found wolves staring at me. My body tensed and I growled, backing up into a rock, I was scared and I had not idea where in the world I was. I was still a little disoriented and honestly, I had no idea how I kept my balance and stayed standing as long as I had.
"Easy not little one, we aren't going to hurt you.." a deep voice said from behind me. My eyes widened and I jumped to the side, ready to lash out at the voice that had just spoke to me. But there was no need to lash out, in fact if I had I don't think he would have minded. He was an old wolf, one that I would grow to like in the days to come.
"Where am I?" I asked a little scared to speak to this older wolf, but he just gave me a small reassuring smile.
"You are not in the highland pack. One of out females found you out on your own. She brought you back and asked if you could stay, of course I couldn't refuse".
This wolfs voice was nice to listen too, soft yet deep. His voice reminded me of my grandfathers who had stayed with my father in out pack until he passed away a month before the plague hit. I dropped my head thinking about the plague and the wolf spoke again.
"My name is Voltaire, I'm the elder of this pack". Voltaire would become my very greatest friend and the one I always looked up to no matter what happened to me. Voltaire would also become the one wolf that I could trust beyond all things, and he helped me deal with all that came to happen to my life.
"I-I'm Deception" I muttered quietly, still unsure about everything. Most of the wolves kept on staring at me, while others just moved on to do their own thing. I was grateful that not everyone was looking at me then. Voltaire smiled at me, and nodded his head toward a big rock to the side of what seemed to be their den. I jumped up on the rock and climbed to the top. It was taller than I was used to but Voltaire was by my side in a second and I suddenly felt stronger.
"Welcome to the Highland Pack my dear Deception" he murmured as I looked out over their lands and the pack that I now belonged too.
[Might continue latter, or I'll leave it at that x3]
