Interesting results! Some I was expecting on the top 10 indeed (dogs, Bwolves, dragons, cats) but others were a bit unexpected for me, like the snakes. I love them, but I did not think they would make to the top 10!
Also a little bit sad for chameleons being lower on the list, they are among my faves too ♡
Welp, guess this means more chances for me to acquire them haha

I'm really surprised butterfly wolves placed so high. People say they have poor demand, but it seems that was just an assumption. They're my personal favorite because they're the only unique species on CS. I also really like the nick pets but it looks like they don't get as much love. The only eastern dragon lines I like are the baby stages. I don't like the feet or faces on the adults.

Hmm, I wonder why Eastern Dragon only has 1 vote! If they hadn’t been in the poll I would’ve voted Syrian hamster, dog, or butterfly wolf. Those dragons are really beautiful pets in my opinion, and I’m planning to collect them all. Sure, there might be different opinions about them, but I just love the little beauties ❤️
I actually used to not like butterfly wolves when I first joined, and I’m not really sure why I did. Maybe it was because they didn’t have as much expression as the other pets, but now I really like them and they’re quite pretty.

Super fun poll! Very funny to see some of my favorite species in the lowest tier. Doing this made me really think about the linearts and I see some of them in a totally different light now

I voted malk dragon as number 1 OuO and I am so hyped it made top 10! If I could get a dragon every few months on the malk lines I would be thrilled beyond measure. I realize they are essentially retired, but they are so cool! Imagine a solid black dragon. Elemental themed dragons. Dragons with line edits like adding flames, horns, tail spikes. Alas

I am SO surprised Bwolf made top 10 AND are currently winning. I love Bwolves, one of my favorite lines on the site, but have been told left right and center that they're "low demand" and that "nobody likes them".

Yeah this surprises me too!

I think b-wolves have some of the BEST designs. The lineart just makes editing easy with a variety of wing types and combinations, and there's ample body space for some gorgeous art.

However I don't feel like I connect with them as much because their eyes aren't looking at the user, they're staring into space somewhere. It makes me feel a little removed. It's hard to see them as humanoid or character-like, which is something I love about my favorite pets.

It's a mixed bag for me personally but I am always pleasantly surprised when norms about demand whatnot get shaken up, I hate demand!
