One thing was clear to the crew: Ahklut was getting restless again. She paced, ideas brewing in her mind, until with a wicked grin she looked at her siblings. "I miss Levi... an' I know just the way to entice him back into visiting us!" She proclaimed.

"Oh?" Charybdis asked, head tilted a slight.

"Aye! We're goin' on an' adventure! An' not jus' any adventure! This time, we're goin into uncharted territories: underground! We'll find all kinds of untouched goodies there dontcha think? How can Levi say no to that?" Jason meanwhile hummed thoughtfully.

"You'll need a Guardian with you. Just in case," he decided. "I reckon I have one or two more adventures in me yet..."

"But Daaaaad!"

"No buts! 'Sides, could be fun. I'll even let you be the captain."

"Really?!?"

"Really. Now let's get this crew movin'!"

Welcome to the 'Treasure Hunt Adventure! Take Two' thread! Here every day a new prompt will be posted. With these prompts, they can be answered with writing or with art! Whether you like to write in first or third person is up to you! There is no minimum or maximum here, the focus is on fun, but those who put more effort in will be rewarded for that as well! Think Judge's Favorite! While new prompts will be posted every day, the deadline for each prompt is at MIDNIGHT EST. That being said I do work late, so new prompts may be delayed depending.

🏴‍☠️ A reminder that the more effort put in, the higher the prize! In example, a npc sketch will likely grant 2, clean inks 3, and a scene or multiple npcs 4! Same goes for the participation gookies!

🏴‍☠️For art, if any of the characters from the booth are included you will receive an additional prize!
🏴‍☠️Partners are allowed to split if one wants to do art, and one writing!
🏴‍☠️Any of my chars can be drawn as anthro, not just feral! Whatever you'd like to do, go for it!

"..So what exactly was so important to call me away from my studies?" Leviathan asked, eying his family. The motley pirate crew simply smiled back, letting Ahklut pipe up. "I've heard rumors that the Gobbess is showing her most devout followers something valuable! Sounds like a treasure hunt to me! SO! We're going to go on our own underground treasure hunt! And well you're one of the smartest goobies I know so..."

Leviathan smiled a bit at that. "Sounds like a fun adventure... alright. I... suppose some time off could not hurt. But how did you rope Dad into this?" Jason laughed, walking over to ruffle Leviathan's hair.

"Eh, someone's gotta keep an eye on ye buggars!" He replied, sticking his tongue out. "An' anyways, eves us ol' sea dogs still love the promise of treasure. But, I may have recruited some... adventurers for security's sake. And because a mighty crew is jus' plain fun!" He laughs, before gesturing towards the oncoming goobies.

"An' here they are now! Introduce yerselves!" He tells the goobies coming. "What are ye skills? What do ye bring to the crew and hope to find? An' keep in mind, we could encounter ANYTHING down there!"

Mayhem took a deep breath at the entrance to the cave. By Gob, how xe missed the adrenaline an adventure could bring! It's been too long since the happenings at Goobilee, and Mayhem was itching to find out how the Gob played into this adventure.

Xe turned and set xes bag down to inventory xes stuff for the millionth time. Food (and the gookies from Goobilee)? Check. Water? Check. Xe also felt gently around xes bag for the astronaut goo xe brought with xem as well. Xe had been experimenting with the goo, and had discovered its regenerative properties and seemingly infinite power connected to the stars. Maybe the Gob himself will show up in response to this power? Xe intends to find out.

"MAYHEM!!!!!" a tiny voice echoes across the cave entrance. Bubbles, the ever-bouncy puppy goob, bounds up to xem, dragging Rocky behind her. "It's been too long! What've you been up to?"

"You know, experimenting with stuff, the usual." Mayhem grins at Rocky. "Let me guess... you had nothing better to do?"

"Yeah," Rocky sighed. "I was supposed to meet Loop later today for ice cream, but I guess that's not happening now."

"Loop? Gosh, y'all would look so cute together." Mayhem's smile stretches even wider as Rocky's signature blush blooms across his face.

"Ok ok, let's go in now," Rocky mumbles through his blush.

The three goobs make their way to Jason to check in with the goob, making a small introduction as they did so.

"Mayhem, xe/xem, the resident scientist in my community."
"Bubbles, she/they, sweets lover!"
"Rocky, he/him, anxious but trying my best."

Entry: the pirate crew is back again! the four of them decided to wear their bandanas from their previous expedition for the fun of it, and as an identifying feature. alongside that, neptune decided to bring along some goggles along with his standard backpack. ..why? they may not be all that practical for a cave, but he thinks they look cool!

"Jason, ya ol' sea slug, c'mere!" Duarte immediately pulled the other pirate into a hug as soon as he laid eyes on him, making sure to keep it short as to not disrupt too much. "An' the youngins as well, o' course! I take it ye've all been taking care, hm?" The goobie smiled, looking over the group and making sure that all of them were there- if any of them were missing from the event, he'd honestly be a little worried. "That said, an introduction for the new recruits comin' in, at the very least. Duarte Teach, infamous pirate and mergoo. If there's one thing I know how to do, it's face danger head-on for the safety of others!" He paused for a moment, having instinctually held out a paw to his side, only for nobody to be there. "And ah- Me first mate, Silver, can't be joinin' us this time- 'fraid he's scared of cavin', but he sent 'is well wishes!"

Once again, Wrasse found himself on an exciting adventure. He was just as excited to explore the caves as everyone else was, and had come adequately prepared. Well - maybe even more than adequately. The bag slung over his shoulder was heavy with supplies, making his paws drag over the rock below him. With each step, equipment clinked around in his bag, a cacophony of overpreparedness drowning out his strained grunts. "Does uh - does anyone need an extra cooking set? Y'know, just in case we're separated and need to cook something over the fire. I brought - one, two, three... four extras! And some snacks, too. Plenty to go around." He dropped the bag on the ground with a heavy clunk, rummaging around for the flattened strips of freshly-dried seaweed he stocked up on. Although he didn't know any of the goobies there yet, he hoped to make friends using tasty food as bait!

Entry: Angelina had enthusiastically agreed to assist with another treasure hunt, and joined the group with a smile and a wave at the goobies she met during the previous adventure. She wore the same outfit she had worn last time, with the star shaped locket she had found at the end of the adventure hidden safely in one of the pockets of her vest. Angelina still hoped to learn the story behind it, and maybe even find its original owner someday. Maybe she would find some hints during this adventure! Even if not, she was looking forward to exploring with her friends, seeing new things, and learning as much as she could!
When it was her turn to introduce herself, Angelina spoke up cheerfully, "Hi, my name is Angelina and I am very excited to go exploring with all of you! I have been on an adventure before and I learned a lot from it! I hope that I will be able to use some of what I learned to help out during this one!" Angelina smiled, this was going to be so much fun!
