reiterating that literally anything from Tess or Simon would be incredibly reassuring for the reasonable people of this thread - us included! they are the only ones who can speak about the entire site legitimately, and not hearing from them is demoralizing, especially for the staff who put so much time into trying to fix the issues themselves (we love you Oddity!).

No promises unfortunately, but better visibility to the people who need to see it. I can't speak for the official CS staff chat where things are actually planned and organized as I'm not actual staff, so I have no idea if anything has been discussed there.
Admittedly I've been focussing most of my extra time working towards getting the Wiki updated recently which I know isn't particularly something on the spreadsheet but it's something a lot of people ask to be updated. Suggestions like stamps I might be able to try putting together to submit for approval, but again, no promises.
Edit: Feed the campers has been put into the archives to be playable at least for now. This is more proof that they are at least trying to listen to what people want. May not be this thread specifically but the community as a whole
Popping back in to say thank you Oddity, I appreciate all you're doing to try and get everyone's suggestions and feedback heard.
Like it is reassuring to hear at least something!

i believe simon has commented on this thread, id look for that. in the end tess and nick decide what happen with the site because they are the owners, id love some transparency on what each role of the staff does, like what does an admin specifically do and mod, etc

yeah, Simon has. but it wasn't reacting to more than one of the issues we presented here, and it wasn't really a blanket statement of "Oh yeah, we're listening to y'all" which would be beneficial. and Tess hasn't posted at all (if she's been seen on this thread we don't know).
really all anyone can do rn is use the shreds mods can give us and retain any hope we have for minor updates. this is not to say Simon isn't delivering, he just can't code everything by himself (which is another issue).

thank you so, so much oddity. i cannot express how much it means to us that some staff members are responding, getting involved, and trying to help the overall wellbeing of the site and userbase. you are going above and beyond, and please know that we see and appreciate that. <3
---
the games being added to the archive is a good sign, but i really won't feel comforted until we get some word from nick or tess themselves. even just saying something like "we have no intentions of changing things" would help players "move on," so to speak, and decide whether or not they want to even stay on the site.
i am still very happy to see some sort of change for the better, though. it's promising, but not a promise.
editing to remind folks that keeping this thread alive is our best chance at seeing change. i'm sure at times it feels pointless to keep discussing and adding onto it, and it's discouraging hearing nothing from those with power- but keep it up! as best as you can, this is our best shot thusfar to see any significant changes. the discussion happening here has been insightful, (mostly) respectful, and has a constant undercurrent of love and care for the site and userbase themselves. we all love chickensmoothie and want to see it properly maintained and cared for. let's keep aiming for that, and do our own parts to ensure cs stays strong! ^^
