This is mostly my own pessimism, but I feel like the economy was doomed the moment we had a user run rares list. I wasn't here before its creation, but the aftermath of such a thing even existing in the first place is too far reaching at this point to fix anything. It would always be subject to people modifying it for their own personal gain. And there will always be people who abide by it as if it's law, no matter what happens, even if it's not. And at this point, it basically is law. If you don't go by the list, well, good luck trading anything at all lol. You can hardly even fix the inflation of the c$ value unless you mass toss c$ into the void, which is obviously not feasible. I personally think there is no way the administrators can implement something that would fix the economy. I feel like it's up to the users at this point.
I could not agree more here! If I’m being honest, I personally don’t think users should have been given so much freedom to set their own values for their pets as it has caused major issues with the list and everything. Which, as gamer said, people pretty much have to follow as law if you except to trade with anyone. I know this is controversial, but I think they almost have to completely revamp the trading system, how it works, and set a more strict way of valuing things. But that of course, would make so many people mad that it may not work. Unfortunately for this, I don’t think there is a good solution, it’s just too late for the trading system. I do still think there are improvements that can be made for sure, I’m just not sure it can be completely fixed anymore.
I'd really just be into expanding the rarity tags.
'Rare' and 'Very rare' are almost meaningless at this point.
They revamped the rarity system in the past by changing a lot of pet rarities around to better reflect the status of the pet, but it didn't actually solve the issue in that the 'rare' tag is WAY too bloated with pets that aren't actually that rare in comparison to others within the same rarity tag.
I'd love to slap two more tiers in there. Rare > New Tier > Very Rare > New Tier > OMG so rare
Dunno what to call those tiers though, but my biggest issue with trading is how little 'rare' even means because the tag is so bloated.
the differencd between omsgr and vr is crazy too, maybe like a rare, pretty rare, very rare, super rare, and omgsr?
