oh hey! i'm an old-timer here who was actually just thinking about a thread addressing stuff like this. i've been on cs since 2011 and honestly, i'm not seeing so much as the site changing, but the people changing. and that's totally cool! i've grown up and i've been on cs member longer than i haven't been,,, which,,, weird,,, but yeah.

i've only got a few things to air here; so let an old soul open her heart here.

- i originally joined this site from another site, foopets. (it's a long time since anybody's heard that name, yeah?) and it was brought up to me as a cool place to rp with other people after the forms closed there. i have noticed a wild, sudden decrease in rp form activity here- and i don't know if this is because people are busy/not interested- but only a few years ago my friends and i were about drowning in rps? i honestly don't know what might be happening other than people have moved to other sites (myself included) to do so. i have noticed that the 1x1s are still alive, so potentially there is still life? i would love to run some ideas along the lines of rp events or something? or perhaps a larger push to include new faces into rps, as my earlier days had a lot of higher-ups proclaim i wasn't good enough at coding/writing to join their ranks and would not allow me to join. i don't know if this is a problem anymore, but i would love to see people join in the fun if this is a barrier limiting them.

- so y'know that rare chance to get a zebra (.003% or whatever) any time you adopt the monthly horses? yeah. here's an idea, make this a very very rare chance to get any old pet a la dec 18th style. can you imagine adopting a sunback or something through a monthly adopts? or just getting a very/rare that you were looking for, just through a random chance? of course, this wouldn't take away from dec 18th, as that is guaranteed- this is just ensuring that the people who have like, six dogtags don't drive up the demand. there's always a sliver of a chance that somebody could get one the next week!

- oh, and don't let people trade away dec 18th pets until they're full grown/ or maybe a couple days in where they understand the risk. sincerely, somebody who was scammed out of two urs when i was a kid because i didn't understand and people sent me pets i wanted with a smiley face and seemed like good people at the time.

i also think its be interesting if custom pets were utilized more? tess has a few and i havent seen anyone else who has them, i think doing contests or something to earn one at some point could definitely spark up some intrigue, especially for people like me who have strayed away from the pet side of the site
