Welcome! This is a glorious place to find new friends and have a stress relieving time! The way this works is pretty simple:

There are several species that you can adopt. You can adopt Horses, and Pyro Dogs! So please, come in, wipe your feet, and take a look!

THE SIMS

What is a SIM?
A SIM is a simulated environment or situation. SIMS can be extremely fun to work with! In this case, you are in a situation where you have an adopted pet, and you have to train it to work in competitions and breed. It can be confusing, but with the lovely Zax here, you'll never get lost!

What do I do to start?
Simply post your form on this thread, and Zax will post it.

Why are there so many links?
I have to keep this SIM organized. It can get pretty complicated and frustrating when you have to look through several pages of information to find one thing. To solve this problem, an Index has been included in the Archive.

What can I do in the SIM?
Oh, there are SO many features! You can train your horse, breed you horse, or you can sell you horse! It's great fun, and that's why SIMs are so popular!

The horse Adoptables are the heart and soul of the adoption center. These animals are what I love the most, and I work hard to draw them with a lot of pizazz and accuracy.

Adoption a Horse is simple if you only want to horse, but I think that it would be very wise to enter your horse in the SIM. This insures that you don't have random horses that you own with nothing to do with them.

-Behind the Flames-
What are Pyro-dogs?
Pyro Dogs are a very hazardous species of canines that have evolved to survive
in the harsh climate that the Earth will soon face. They have a heat resistant c-
oat that often helps them keep the heat away from their internal organs. These
Dogs also have coal black eyes and paws that burn a constant flame even under
water. They live with their own kind in a pack system. They were very unknown
to the world, and they survived in peace until the humans found them............

Why do we have them now?
Soon after the Pyro Dogs were discovered, scientists from all over the globe ca-
me to see them, but they were soon thwarted when the Dogs got out into the w-
ild again. Eventually, a caring young girl found several packs of different variet-
ies of them. Her name: Zax. She now breeds them and trains them from their p-
uppy stage, to their adult adoption stage. There will always be new Pyro-dogs bo-
rn as they reproduce quite fast.

-Variations in the Species-

Traditional-
Traditionals were the first that Zax found in the wilderness. They are the largest of the Species weighing in at an average of 80-100 lbs. They have a basic pit bull shape, but they have a flaming lion-like tail and of course flaming paws. They are well muscled and can run powerfully. They have somewhat thin legs, but they are very sturdy. Traditionals enjoy human company for the most part, and are similar to a Great Dane's personality. These Pyro Dogs are available.

Exotic-
Exotics are the most dangerous of the Species. They are virtually covered in flames, and they often will burn anything they touch. They are medium sized and weigh in an average of 40-50 lbs. They are ideal pets for families who enjoy a wild life as these Dogs have a bit of a crazy streak. The only way to keep their flames subsided is too constantly have them playing. If these conditions are not met, the Exotic Pyro-Dog will end up burning a certain someone's home like hay straw. The Exotics have been fully tamed by our wonderful Zax, and they are now available for adoption.

Avian-
Avian Pyros have a certain energetic quality to them. They often will spread their wings and glide around their dens just for fun. They will play fight and be rough on a regular basis, so this breed is not recommended for families with children. They are medium sized and weigh in at the average of 30-40 lbs. They do have hollow bones that are filled with fire to better help them fly. They are still in the training process, so they are not yet available. However, keep an eye out. Some of them are being spotted gliding over the adoption facility.

Marine-
Marine Pyro Dogs are of course found in a marine environment. They have color changing pigments in their skin that enables them to blend in with their surroundings. They have been tamed by our lovely trainer Zax, and they are now available for adoption.

Unknown Pyro Dog-
This mysterious breed has rarely been spotted and never photographed. Occasionally, Zax will find one of these small creatures and train it. They are very different than the others, and Zax wants everyone to know it. They are not yet available for adoption because of their unpredictability.

Breeding

What does it mean to breed an adoptable?
Breeding an adoptable means that you take the designs of two adoptables and make a new design based on those two combined. Not all designs go together well, but most of them do. Especially in the horses' cases.

What happens if the species of Pyro is different?
One species will be chosen. It will either be the mother's species or the father's species. Pyros cannot make crossed species. It's a genetic condition called "Absolute Perfection"

What happens if the breed of horse is different?
You will simply have a cross breed horse. i.e.- A Thoroughbred breeds with a Quarter Horse. You have a Thoroughbred x Quarter Horse cross or an Appendix.

Can I breed a Horse or Pyro with another User's Horse or Pyro?
No. That feature is only available in the SIM. This is breeding outside of the SIM. Therefore, you can only breed within your own Adoptables.[That's why the SIM is recommended.]

Can I draw my pup or foal on my own instead of having Zax make it?
Nope. I have to draw it or it wouldn't be a ZAX ADOPTABLE would it?

Trading

What is trading?
Trading is when you exchange one thing for another. In this case, you're exchanging one adoptable for another user's adoptable.

Can I trade a Pyro for a Horse?
Yes, you may. However, I wouldn't trade a Pyro for a horse. Pyros are a unique species, and they are valued higher than a horse that took 2 minutes to be created.[No joke. That's how long I spend on each horse.]

Will there be a limit to how many trades I can make?
Not as of now, but if I have a million trades every week, I may put a limit on it. Zax is only human...


How do I start a trade?
PM the owner of the adoptable or post on this thread that you would like to trade your adoptable for theirs. If they agree, post the following form:

Can I make changes to the Adoptable?
Yes. Once you have it, it's yours. They only thing you can't change is the design, but any information that you want to change, you may unless otherwise noted in the trade agreement.

Customs

What is a custom?
A custom is something that you create on your own. In this case, you make the design, and I draw it on the lines.

How do I get a custom?
In order to get a custom, you must pay for it with pets. The prices are really cheap for set pose customs:

Simple Horse: 1 very common/common
Complex Horse: 1 common/uncommon

Simple Pyro: 1 uncommon
Complex Pyro: 2 uncommon

Special Customs:
Simple Digital Creature: 1 Rare
Complex Digital Creature: 1 Wishlist Rare

Simple Hand Drawn Creature: 2 Uncommon
Complex Hand Drawn Creature: 1 Rare


Can I breed a custom?
You can breed a custom. Just do that same that you would for any other ordinary adoptable.

Can I sell a custom?
You may, but sales can only happen in the SIM

Can I trade a custom?
You may, but it is not recommended unless the other adoptable is a custom.

Can a bred pup/foal be a custom?
No. These adoptables must have the characteristics of their parents.

Can I choose to have a foal/pup for a custom?
Unfortunately, you may not as I don't have lines for them yet.

Can customs breed?
Yes they can. Customs can do everything that a normal adoptable can do. It is just very personalized.
