Normally, we'd leave things up to the Forest Rangers, but I think you're right that we might not be able to trust everyone. It's best if we have eyes on the scene.
seems like moose might be suspicious of mason?

Mason mentioned his brother faked being a cryptid by dressing up as a bird. There was a lot of bird related clues at the watch tower. I'm wondering if Mason is pretending to be a cryptid to gain the trust of other cryptids lol.

I’m starting to think Mason might be behind Cirrus’s disappearance?

Seraphine dialogue:
“ The strangest thing happened. I went for a walk in the woods along one of the trails I hadn't explored yet because Mason told me there was a grove of raspberries down there. He was supposed to watch the tower while I was gone.”
But he didn’t tell anyone he had this job!! Maybe he plotted something out to scare Cirrus because he doesn’t like how the glampgrounds people camp. Maybe he told Seraphine to take that trail, switched the trail marker while Seraphine was picking berries, and then led Cirrus away from the glampgrounds while Seraphine was lost! It’s also possible Mason even tampered with Seraphine’s compass (sorry, didn’t copy that part of the dialogue), knowing Seraphine would be capable of getting back to camp otherwise.

If you can see the glampgrounds from the watch tower, Mason would know he couldn’t get away with any shenanigans while Seraphine was on duty.

PLUS, it could explain why the glamper’s heat sensor picked up two heat signatures with a second person “walking funny”.

starting to think that yeah maybe mason is behind it. maybe hes annoyed that no one else believes in the cryptids and wanted to prove a point so he came up with a whole plan and then starts telling everyone that its the work of cryptids and plants 'clues' so everyone will believe him!

i def agree!! the fact that mason was supposed to be watching the tower, wasn’t doing so, and didn’t mention this to anyone is SUPER sus. i also think him having the confiscated lights means that he isn’t fond of the glampers, and perhaps is too close w animals and cryptids to maybe see himself as “one of them.” bc of this, perhaps that’s why he dislikes the glampers and their poor camping choices? dislikes them enough to try and scare them away? he’s also very intent on something nefarious happening to cirrus — perhaps bc he knows? moose also seems to distrust him in moose’s quote

quick edit to add: maybe he called in his brother to help pretend to be a cryptid to scare away the glampers and “prove” to everyone that cryptids are real?

however, we HAVE been seeing cryptids, though, and mysterious creatures that don’t quite seem to belong. the more fantastical-looking squirrels and owl, the oarfish, giraffe, platypus, pangolin, and now the tessies
just kinda thinking out loud lollll

I think your right on with this. Makes a lot of sense that Mason would be trying to make a point.
