And most of my posts don't have a whole lot of detail. I think it's just because I don't pay attention to detail in life...I don't know.

Like I said, with practice you'll get better.

It's is one tiny step above complete lack of education, but the carelessness of it all allows one to safely label "illiterate". text that is hard to understand might as well be(or is it may as well?) be nonsense, and those who care not to read rules, or learn proper mechanics of the language "cannot read".

it is the kindest way to tell someone "you are a blithering idiot", kind like when you put a suffering "dog to sleep"

It's a matter of perspective and context.
In this particular case, it's not an insult here unless people start treating it like one.

Illiteracy doesn't necessarily mean you cannot read or write. It can extend to just not meeting up to certain standards, or simply not as refined. From what I can tell, people do not necessarily need perfect grammar to be understood, they just need to be coherent with their ideas.

I can understand chatspeak just fine for the most part, what starts to lose me is when topics start jumping mid-sentence. An example of "what the hell is this," would be something like this:

"I went to the park today the park is very nice and runned by the local city council I rather like the city council, the park was very full today, but I also sometimes think the city council isn't that great. There was someone walking their dog talking on the cellphone, there is a cellphone company that sells biscuits. I like the park, the park was fun."

^ Which is less grammar than it is sorting your thoughts out before you start posting.

oh. that, some tell me is my issue. That it is collecting thoughts and my ideas(bearings?) and making them useful. I describe the thought pattren as "a room with lots of bouncing balls", and slowing down and collecting the thoughts is very difficult for me.

as for RP format, I guess using a script style is a no-no?

I'm fairly busy at the moment, though I'm up to a relaxed tutoring session if anyone wants any help. One on one obviously.

yeah, with lots in the middle. I was considering making write ups like that, and not a novel style. I only own one script as movie memorabilia.(a Highlander one)

ad your decorated descriptions for building a scene, write different for diolaoug and then, throw in actions. why can't anyone tell me who "invented" throwing an action betwixt asterisk

"yeah, so this guy said to me the other day, that I had a large nose! *scratches head in a perplexed manner* could you image that!"

I'd say I'm a two or three when i normally type as I'm too lazy to put much thought into my writing. Sometimes I can be around a four, I think, when I'm actually trying, which doesn't happen often.
