I totally agree! That's the first thing I thought of when I saw them. But normally CS hedgies are dwarf or Syrian hammies:

It would be amazing to get guinea pig ones too, then we'd have 3 different sizes!

Word for word these were my next thoughts! I've been hoping for more hairless animals (I still don't think we have any hairless dog breeds on CS) but I'm not sure we'd get such a big litter of them. So then I thought of real pigs, too. I see the resemblance to the
2019 Chinese New Year pigs, especially this one:

I'm glad everyone enjoys them!!
I'm glad you made the right decision in order to avoid the riot. This is soo cute, I adore EPPS butterfly wolves and this one has such a cute little face! The face and realistic colors makes me think of these litters:
April 2013,
September 2013, and
July 2016. It's been quite awhile since those litters, so if this one does end up being similar (the "wolf" portion of the butterfly wolf having realistic canine-like coloring), I'd be very happy! But no matter what this litter ends up looking like, I'll love it.
Agreeing with everyone that this looks like a farm or garden-inspired litter! Would be cute to have either veggie-inspired dogs or something like
this litter with each dog dressed up as a farmer, scarecrow, cowboy, milkmaid etc. but honestly a litter like that seems like a one-time thing and it's just my farming sim-addicted brain going off the rails.
I think this is a cute pairing and it's giving me a 1970s vibe for some reason. The mix of warm and cool colors makes it a perfect farewell to summer since they'll grow up near the end of August. (Yes I am ignoring people who live in the Southern Hemisphere, I'm sorry! I know our seasons are opposite!)
I see what others said about wildcat-inspired colors and patterns, but the colors are making me think of baked goods for some reason. Cookie cougars and brownie bobcats?
I'm terrible at guessing what abstract litters will look like! The juxtaposition of neon, pastel, and neutral/organic is interesting.
Like others said, this is giving me a snake vibe! The color scheme reminds me of the pets from the
2014 Egypt event.
I think this will probably be chickens since we had dragons last month. This really reminds me of Easter egg coloring, where you draw on the egg with a wax crayon and then dip in the dye, so when it comes back out it has white designs on a background of color. Tess made a
November 2015 dog litter that really reminds me of that and of these eggs. It's not just an Easter tradition (and doesn't have to use eggs) so I think it could work for August too.
I'm surprised no one has said this fox looks like it's wrapped in the lesbian flag! I know the stripes are in the wrong order but the colors are really similar. The color scheme has always reminded me of a sunset, and combined with the fox's dusky purple body, I think this will be a really pretty sunset/sunrise-inspired litter.
FleshCanvas never disappoints! I love when they make litters based on real species and then reveal what they are after everyone has made guesses and scoured the internet to identify them. Part of me wishes there was a cute shark pup/small species of shark PPS but the other part knows I'd have NO chance of trading for it since I can't buy store pets, so it's fine.
